Agreeing with those who said ASM. My first exposure to it was at a drive-in, and I hated the first thirty minutes of it, where Peter pretty damn much showed everyone "Hey, I'll probably be Spider-Man in the next few weeks". The script really was weak and I couldn't feel any sympathy at all for the characters, least of all; {Spoiler}Captain Stacy, who took up the Jonah role as completely hating Spider-Man and wanting the police to focus on capturing him instead of searching for whatever the hell was tearing up a bridge. That said, and I need to watch it again just in case, but I was also underwhelmed with Dark Knight Rises. Three hour movie, about two hours and thirty minutes of things happening without Batman. I know that's a petty criticism, but everything else felt like padding to justify having the film be as long as it was. And IT'S ending drove me up a wall as well. While I liked it, I do agree that it was the kind of movie that takes so much time, you want to call the director & say we get it, his life sucks.

Prometheus. So much Prometheus. It had so much damn potential. The first Alien is one of the all time greats. This was supposed to be something along those lines, then a prequel, then not a prequel, then similar but different, then ... That should have been my clue.
It is a movie I thought about afterwards but most of that thinking just further makes me hate this movie as the visuals, which were great no longer cover up the terrible nonsensical plot and characters.

I have to go with Dark Knight. I was in Suncoast Video today and they were playing it. I watched maybe a few minutes and was reminded of how boring I thought it was in theatres. Which is a shame because I usually like Batman movies but I just couldn't get into this one.

DKR wasn't bad, but didn't come near the standards set by the first two.
For me, the most disappointing film of the year was John Carter. See, I've actually read the John Carter books, so when I heard it was being made into a movie, I was massively excited. Then I saw the preview...
I've not watched John Carter, and I'll do my best to keep it that way.

Spider man and Dark shadows, and also agree with Brave. I fell asleep watching it at home with my daughter.
