Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guests at this time, they are the number one contenders to the TNA World Tag Team Championships, Kid Kash and Sam Shaw.
Wow, that sounds kind of surreal.
If you think that's good, wait until we actually win the gold.
In order to do that, the two of you will have to defeat Magnus and Doug Williams. What are your thoughts heading into this one?
The last time I held a championship in TNA was June 4, 2004 when I was tag team champion with a big man by the name of Dallas, better known to most as Lance Hoyt. Since then, he went on to become one of the craziest bastards this business has ever seen, even becoming a world champion. Now, I haven't exactly blanked when it comes to titles since then but I've not won anything major either. Well I'm getting pretty damn sick of that so tonight, I fully intend for that to change. As far as Shaw goes, this is his first opportunity at the big time. You nervous boy?
Honestly? Yes, a little. Don't get me wrong, I believe we can beat Magnus and Williams. I just know it's not going to be a walk in the park.
Well there's never been a better time for us to put up or shut up. Spotlight is shining bright Shaw, what you have to say?
Magnus, Williams, I get how things work around here. One look at Kash and I, we wouldn't blame you for underestimating us. Kash has been in this business for over twenty years whereas I'm barely getting started. Outside of that squared circle, we probably have nothing in common and as a tag team, we've had less than a handful of matches together. It isn't important how we got here though, it's the fact that we are here which matters. In just a few moments, the four of us will step into that ring and then it all comes down to a three count. I didn't work my ass off trying to get into this company, trying to succeed and become a champion, only to fall at the last hurdle. Yeah, Magnus is a former world champion. Yeah, Williams is one of the best technical wrestlers on the entire roster but I've got more heart and more determination than the two of them combined. Kash, we're doing this tonight to prove that neither of us are done yet. It might be surreal for me, the idea of being TNA World Tag Team Champion, but I will stop at nothing to make that dream come true.
...Not bad, Shaw. Not bad.

JB: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall... and it is for the TNA World Tag Team Championships!
JB: Introducing the challengers, respectively from Johnson City, Tennessee and Jacksonville Beach, Florida, at a combined weight of 432 pounds, Kid Kash and Sam Shaw!
The unorthodox duo of Shaw and Kash has really been opening everybody's eyes in the back. Who would have thought these two would have such great chemistry?
It's a real surprise to be sure, Mike. Honestly I never would have guessed in a million years. But I guess sometimes opposites attract. And they've done that real well recently!
JB: And their opponents, respectively from The United Kingdom and Manchester, England, at a combined weight of 475 pounds, they are the TNA World Tag Team Champions, Magnus and Doug Williams!
But chemistry or not it takes more than that to take down a pair like this. Magnus and Williams have held those belts with an iron fist for months now. So far nobody has been able to take them away.
True enough. These guys are real nasty in the ring. They'll beat anybody as hard as they have to. Shaw and Kash are in for a real fight here tonight!

Shaw makes the hot tag as Kash runs wild, taking Magnus and Williams down with dropkicks aplenty! He then grabs Williams and signals for the Dead Level! Magnus however cuts him off with a big boot, dazing Kash. Williams then sets him up for the Chaos Theory Suplex! This time though Shaw runs interference as he springs into the ring, leveling Williams with a flying dropkick! Williams goes down hard. Shaw then gets to his feet and charges at Magnus, hitting a flying crossbody and taking them both over the top rope! Meanwhile Williams stumbles to his feet, looking dazed. As soon as he does, Kash grabs and drives him with the Dead Level! He floats over and hooks the leg! 1! 2! 3! JB: Here are your winners... and the NEW TNA Tag Team Champions, Kid Kash and Sam Shaw! Unbelieveable! These two actually pulled it off! They knocked off the dominant Magnus and Williams!Unreal! Kid Kash and his protege actually pulled it off!Williams rolls out of the ring, clutching his neck as Kash accepts both titles holding them high in the air! As he does though Shaw returns to the ring, looking at him almost pleadingly. Kash hesitates for a few moments... before handing the other title over. The two then raises the belts high in the air in triumph as they celebrate. Congratulations to these two. That's our second title change tonight. Could we be looking at a third in our main event? Time will tell.-------------------- PAPARAZZI PRODUCTIONS
IN ASSOCIATION WITH ALEX SHELLEY FILMS
PRESENTS...
SHELLSHOCKED The Alex Shelley is seen dressed to compete tonight, moments away from his championship match. As he notices the camera, he flashes a smile before motioning for the camera to come closer. Hard to believe that this seemed impossible just three months ago. Don't get me wrong, I always believed myself to be main event worthy, and I dreamed of the day when I'd get my shot at becoming TNA Champion. I just never imagined it would be so soon.
For those of you unaware, the new year marks my ninth year with TNA. Nine years of being the best wrestler in the X-Division, of the Motor and Murder City Machine Guns, of making my name mean something in this company. I've gone through Full Metal Mayhem against High Flight, countless Ultimate X matches, even an X-Scape match or two. Few people can match me in terms of what I've done both in this company and for this company. Yet, I was always overlooked.
Chris and I spoke about breaking out of the tag division for a while. We had won the titles four times, a record that won't be broken any time soon. We had no more mountains to climb, no new destinations to reach. We both knew we had done all we could as a tag team, and asked for a chance to venture out on our owb. But we were ignored in favor of Robbie E and Brian Kendrick. Cast aside for Mark LoMonaco. Forgotten so that others could remember Sting and his Revelation. And when we thought AJ Styles would understand, he rejected us. We were denied entry into his group of originals, despite our backgrounds. We remember the days of weekly pay per views. Of one hour shows on FSN at three in the afternoon. Of TNA's first pay per view. We competed at Victory Road back in 2004, we had tenure here, but we were cast aside for others.
That is why I don't like you, Joey Ryan. We may have crossed paths on the indy circut a few times, but within three months on my turf, you become TNA Champion. Not TV, not Tag, not X-Division, but the Heavyweight Champion. You didn't have to struggle like I have. You didn't have to go through the trials and tribulations, you knew no hardships. You just showed up and asked if anyone wanted a Moustache Ride.
Tonight, I rip your moustache right off your face. I take your TNA title, and i usher in a new era in TNA. An era of EARNING what you have rather than attributing it to "right place, right time". Where you've got to fight for an opportunity. Where people in this company come for this belt because it means they are the best.
And tonight, I am the best.(Main event in five minutes!)

Ladies and gentlemen, we are in a real treat for tonight. This rematch has been building for awhile now. These two competitors fought hard last time out. And now the time has come for them to fight once more.
The World Championship hangs in the balance this time though. Alex Shelley has never held that title while Ryan has only hold it for a handful of months. Both men want it badly and soon we'll find out who wants it most.
Joey Ryan has already been in one grueling contest here tonight. And even with a few hours to rest he's not going to be one-hundred percent here tonight.
This match is going to push him to his physical limits, I suspect. Ryan better be ready to give it everything he has or this one could be over real quick!
JB: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is your Maaaaaaaaaaaain event of the evening!
JB: Introducing first, the challenger, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at 215 pounds, Alex Shelley!
JB: And his opponent, from Hollywood, California, weighing in at 210 pounds, he is the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Joey Ryan!

So here we are again... do I vote for the consistent Joey Ryan or Shelley who actually promoed tonight?
Both deserve it without a doubt... but who deserves it more?

Ryan and Shelley stand in the center of the ring exchanging chops. Eventually Shelley get the better of them and backs Ryan into the corner. He backs up and charges forward with a dropkick to Ryan's face! Joey however rolls out of the way at the last second causing Shelley to misfire. He tumbles rising to his feet just in time for Joey to spring onto the top turnbuckle and leap off with a crossbody!
1!
2!
Shelley kicks out! Ryan hefts Shelley up in his grip and hoists him into the high, driving him across his knee for a gutbuster! He then grabs him as rises back to his feet, snapping off a Northern Lights Suplex as he holds him for another cover.
1!
2!
Amazing combination of moves from Ryan! He's really taking it to Shelley here!
Shelley kicks out once more. Ryan pulls him up to his feet only for Shelley to deliver a swift kick to the gut, snapping off a swinging neckbreaker! Ryan hits the mat, Shelley going for a pin of his own!
1!
2!
Ryan kicks out! He stumbles back to his feet, ready to meet him with a Hurracanrana! He sends him sailing across the ring, springing off the ropes and charging full speed to deliver a sliding dropkick that sends Ryan tumbling to the outside!
Ryan struggles to his feet once more, Alex leaping onto the top rope and diving off for a flying crossbody taking them both down! The two men struggle back to their feet, Shelley making it first as he scoops Ryan back up, tossing him into the ring first before sliding in and going for another pinfall.
1!
2!
Ryan kicks out once more. Shelley grabs the rising Ryan and looks to plant him with a DDT. Ryan however counters, flinging Shelley over his back to the mat! He then springs into the air for a moonsault press. driving his weight down atop the fallen Shelley for a cover!
1!
2!
Shelley kicks out. Ryan pulls him back to his feet and signals for the end. He hefts Alex high into the air, positioning him on the top turnbuckle and setting up the Mustache Ride! However Alex escapes with a headbutt, Ryan staggering back. Shelley positions him on the turnbuckle and grabs Ryan by the throat, leaping off and spiking him with a Tornado DDT! Ryan flops to the canvas, laying in a heap as Shelley climbs atop and hooks the leg!
Shelley avoids taking the Mustache Ride and instead takes Ryan on a ride of his own!
1!
2!
Ryan gets his foot on the bottom rope! Shelley looks on in disbelief. He steps back, stamping the mat as he waits for Ryan to rise. He springs back soon after, launching a Super Kick at his opponent! Ryan however dodges and counters with a Super Kick of his own! Shelley however avoids this one as well. Both men size each other up before springing back with second Super Kicks, both of them connecting!
Ryan and Shelley drop to the canvas at the same time, laying motionless on the mat.
Wow!
Double Superkicks! And both seem to have hit the mark!
Time seems to stand still as both competitors lay prone. Eventually though Shelley crawls along the mat, draping an arm across Ryan!
1!
2!
Ryan gets the shoulder up. Shelley flops back onto the canvas, gazing up at the lights. The two men once again begin to get to their feet. Shelley grabs Ryan by the neck, charging towards the turnbuckle and looking for a Shiranui! Ryan however counters it into a back suplex! Shelley however counters that, landing on his feet behind him and grabbing Ryan for the Shell Shock. Ryan however breaks free with a well-placed knee, sending him stumbling back. He fires another That 70's Kick!
Shelley however grabs him by that foot, reeling him in and taking him into the Border City Stretch! Ryan gasps out in pain, struggling to escape the hold, but Shelley has it clinched on tight! He resists for as long as he can, but eventually the pain is too much. Ryan has no choice but to tap out!
JB: Here is your winner... AND THE NEEEEEEEW TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION... Alex Shelley!
Shelley has done it! Shelley has beaten Joey Ryan! Despite Ryan's best efforts, Shelley managed to survive and find the path to victory here tonight!
I gotta tell ya, Mike, this kid right here is the real deal. People have been saying that he's been due for a long time. Now tonight Shelley has finally cemented his name here in TNA for good!
Shelley drops to his knees, tears streaming down his face as he celebrates with his newly won title! Confetti rains down from the ceiling around him, Ryan watching on from nearby. He makes his way over, reaching out and offering a handshake. Shelley looks at him for a moment, then reaches out and gladly accepts! Ryan then holds Shelley's arm high into the air in victory, helping the new champion celebrate his huge victory!
A class act is this Joey Ryan. He may have lost, but he has nothing to be ashamed of here tonight. Wrestling twice in one night and he still fared as well as he did. Not every athlete out there is capable of such a feat.
Right you are, Mike. Ryan isn't going anywhere. And chances are there will be a rematch between these two sooner rather than later.
Well folks, this has been a great show. For Tazz, I'm Mike Tenay. Thanks for tuning in!
We fade to a shot of Shelley still celebrating in the ring, a huge grin on his face.

Thanks to Spartan, Hayden, Cage, Matt, M, Jono, and all the rest for promoing, voting, and such! And congratulations to Spartan, MikeyP, and Hayden for their respective title wins!
The swap period is now open. And I'm kicking things off by dropping ODB. I enjoyed writing for her, but now that I'm helping run Impact I'd rather not overextend myself for now.
