We head backstage where Christy Hemme is standing with Sting and Devon.
Sting, in a few moments you begin your official first match as the leader of Morgan and Devon.
That's right, Christy! It's nearly SHOWTIME! And while Eric Young scouts his prey from above, its up to me to make his rag tag team turn into a well oiled militia.
Morgan already fought, and I saw some good things and some bad things. With Devon, its all about bringing back some of that spark that we used to see during his tag action with Team 3D.
Sting turns to Devon.
I want to see aggression. I want to see tag team moves. I want to see smart, fluid action and I don't want to be on the losing end. I want a victory and I don't even want it close. I want a domination. And I want tonight to send a message.
Oh my brother, Testify!
You want it, you got it. Tonight starts the revival of the EY Crew.
Sting nods and he and Devon quickly exit. ------------------
JB: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall!
JB: Introducing first, respectively from New York City and Venice Beach, California, at a combined weight of 510 pounds, Devon and Sting!
A few minutes ago Matt Morgan competed in the gauntlet match and now it's Devon and Sting's time to step up.
This is such a great pairing. You've got the eager young protege, Devon, and his mentor, Sting. I tell ya, Mike, this relationship is gonna pay dividends
I wouldn't call Devon "young"
JB: And their opponents, respectively from Battle Creek Michigan and Cardiff, Wales, at a combined weight of 495 pounds, Rob Terry and Rob Van Dam!
What ditch did they drag ol Rob Terry out of? We haven't seen him in weeks!
The Robs may have seen the success of Shaw and Kash and thought that they might fare better in the tag division. We'll see how well that pans out for them.

Rob Terry has Devon up for the Freakbuster, looking to put him away. However in mid-lift Sting sneaks in from behind and boots him in the leg, causing him to lose his grip! He quickly rolls out of the ring, Van Dam arguing with the referee about the illegal interference but to no avail. As he does Devon lifts up him into the air and drives him down with Saving Grace! He hooks the legs!
1!
2!
Van Dam tries to make the save, but Sting yanks him off the apron from the outside!
3!
JB: Here are your winners, Devon and Sting!
Devon and Sting put the Robs away! A very smart strategy by the Icon there.
I'd argue the legality of said strategy, but it got the job done in the end. That's what matters, I suppose.
Without a doubt, Tenay. It ain't cheating unless you get caught.
Well folks, coming up next is our main event. But first we caught up with the new X-Division Champion earlier tonight. Let's see what he had to say. -----------------------
We head backstage to March Madness. Rosita is sitting on Zema's lap waving her pom poms, while Zema has the title hanging around his neck.
New X-Division champion! My baby did it! The MVP, and TNA's all star, Zema Ion!
That's right, my sexy latina cheerleader. And that's right, my adorning public... whoa, whoa, whoa. Let me restart.
S'up nerds.
It's the STILL undefeated, X Division Champion! ZEMAAAAAAAA IONNNNNNNNN!
And much like the Baltimore Ravens will next Sunday, I came through when the spotlight shined the brightest. I beat Joey Ryan and I hurt him so badly, that he was nowhere near 100% for Shelley.
You're welcome, Alex.
And I proved my dominance, and now there's one word that's ringing through my head... Dynasty. I don't just want to hold the championship, I want to be considered the greatest of all time.
And you will, Zema. In due time. But for now, lets keep the victory celebration going.
Zema smiles.
Until next time folks...
I'm Zema Ion, X Division Champion. And right this sec, I'm kicking my feet back with the cutest girl I've ever met and celebrating my glory as an athlete, a wrestler, and just as an all around awesome person.
Send whoever you want after my title, TNA. Because its only ending one way. I kick him across the head and the crowd watches as it flies across the field and through the uprights.
AND IT'S GOOD!
Rosita waves her pom poms and the shot fades.

JB: The following contest is your maaaaaaaaain event and is scheduled for one fall!
JB: Introducing first, from Parts Unknown, weighing in at 350 pounds, Abyss!
The Monster is in a mood tonight. He failed to capture the TNA Television title at Final Resolution and he's looking to rebound here tonight.
This guy is one scary dude. Granted, he may not have intelligence on his side, but when you're as mean as nasty as him you don't need to be on the honor roll.
JB: And his opponent, from Hollywood, California, weighing in at 210 pounds, Joey "Magnum" Ryan!
And here comes the FORMER champ himself!
Will you stop? Yes, Joey Ryan lost both his titles at Final Resolution, but he was far from a pushover on that night. Ryan did the best that he could. He fought tooth and nail to retain both his belts, but when it came down to it he couldn't get the job done. There's no shame in it though; very few men out there possess the level of skill to pull that off.
Make all the excuses you want, Tenay. Joey failed plan and simple. He better step it up tonight if he wants to remain in the hunt if you ask me.

Abyss lifts Ryan up for some Shock Treatment, dropping down and rattling Joey. He flops off Abyss's back as the masked man covers.
1!
2!
Joey kicks out. Abyss hefts him up, looking for a scoop slam only for Joey to drop down behind him, powering him down with a Reverse DDT! Joey turns the tables with a pin of his own!
1!
2!
Abyss kicks out. Joey backs away, stomping the mat as he waits for the monster to rise. He lunges in only for Abyss to catch him in mid-kick, pulling him in for a Black Hole Slam! Ryan however grabs him in mid-air, countering into a DDT! He spikes Abyss into the canvas, leaving both men down and out. Eventually Ryan drapes an arm over for the pin.
1!
2!
Abyss gets the shoulder up. Joey pulls himself back to his feet, the monster rising up along with him. He then lunges back and cracks the stunned Abyss between the eyes with another That 70's Kick! Abyss flops back to the canvas, Ryan falling atop him for the cover.
1!
2!
3!
JB: Here is your winner, Joey "Magnum" Ryan!
And Joey Ryan proved tonight that he's still got it! Even after his loss to Alex Shelley he has shown the world that he's far from ready to throw in the towel.
I hate to admit it, but you're right. Joey did put away the impressive Abyss, but one win doesn't automatically put you back in contention. Ryan better keep bringing it or he's gonna be on the outside looking in.
Well folks, that's all for this week .Thanks for tuning in. We'll see you again, same Impact time. Same Impact network!

Just reading over the show. Roode goes for a clothesline, Kash ducks and hits a dropkick. Kash grabs Roode's arms and pulls him up off the mat. MONEY MAKER!!!! 1 2 3! JB: Here is your winner, Kid Kash!!! A very impressive win for Kid Kash, defeating a former TV and Tag champion. But can he continue this momentum and claim gold of his own?
Right now, let's head to the back.I think you'll find Kid Kash does have some gold of his own.

Hello everyone and welcome to TNA Impact! Mike Tenay here once again joined by Simon Diamond. Tonight's show is all about title contention.
That's right, Mike. We are weeks away from Against All Odds! Tonight we're gonna see the card of that show take shape.
Indeed. All of the titles will be on line at that show. So that's six matches guranteed off the spot. The question who will make it to the show to vie for those belts?
No telling, Mike. But I'll tell you this: tonight is going to be one heck of a show! Even if I have to spend it alongside you instead of some busty chick.
You don't say. Well before we get started we have the TNA Television Champion in action against our newest signee, Rockstar Spud. Spud won a contract in the recent TNA British Bootcamp series. He beat out three other competitors and now tonight he's getting the chance to step into the big leagues
That's a mighty big step though, Mike. This kid is facing the star of the show, after all! It doesn't get any bigger than the marquee man of TNA, KCW!
I would hesitate to call him THE star as he does himself, but KCW is definitely an accomplished grappler. And speaking of which, let's head to the back where our champion has some words he'd like to share ---------------------
We cut to the back where KCW is standing by, a cocky smirk on his face as to be expected. The Television title is wrapped securely around his waist.
Tonight it is once again time for me to go out and show my splendor to the world. I must yet again prove to everyone else watching why I deserve this hunk of gold dangling from my svelte waist. You see I am the star of this program, as I hope you are all aware of at this point. It is my duty to captivate my audience and force them to pay attention to me and everything I do!
And tonight is yet another chance for me to do just that as I deal with some bloke who thinks he's going to start his career off by pulling off an upset. Sadly for him that won't be the case today. You see young Spud you are dealing with a master and innovator of this sport. I've been wrestling ever since you clad in diapers. I've been out there making a name for myself and showing to the world that I am the greatest damn competitor out there!
And why wouldn't I? After all I was born for this business. I was raised from birth to be the icon of this industry! All others who look upon me can't help but feel jealous that I even exist. Not that I blame them. After all who wouldn't want to such a dashing and debonaire chap like myself? A champion is someone the people idolize, after all. They see them as role models, icons, people whose example they should follow.
While I don't particularly care for people copying my style I have no real objections to it. After all who I am to deny people the opportunity to learn and benefit from the best in this business? It simply wouldn't do for me to push them away. And thus tonight I will make it mission in that ring once more to show to the world my superiority over them all as they stare on with their glassy-eyed gazes!
Spud, tonight you are in for a schooling. I will teach you why you don't belong in my ring and why you can't hope to stand against me. And I will show each and everyone of those fools watching in the locker room the man they cannot hope to outshine!
I am KCW and I am the star of this show! The rest of you are just bit players destined to make me glow by comparison. Tonight, I go out and prove just why that is.
The man rubs his knuckle over the plate of his title and gives a smug smile before walking off, Godderz in tow. We cut back to ringside soon after.

JB: The following contest is scheduled for one... hey, why don't I get a color in my text?
Ixnay on the Kayfabe...
JB: Ahem... the following contest is scheduled for one fall!
JB: Introducing first, from Birmingham, West Midlands, England, weighing in at 130 pounds. Rockstar Spud!
Well French Fry has got his work cut out for him tonight. The little toothpick is facing one of the most accomplished and experienced guys in the locker room in KCW. Not an easy feat.
Agreed, but despite his size discrepency SPUD is not to be underestimated. This guy beat out three other worthy candidates to make to the big leagues tonight. KCW better not underestimate this kid or he'll regret it.
JB: His opponent, accompanied to the ring by Godderz, from Tampa, Florida, weighing in at 216 pounds, he is the TNA Television Champion, KCW!
It's not every day where KCW has a size advantage over somebody. Geez, he looks like a giant compared to Potato over there!
Spud, you mean. This is definitely unusual circumstances for the champion. KCW has a clear advantage here tonight and you better believe he's gonna exploit it. Let's see how this one goes.

KCW ducks under a crossbody attempt, sending Spud crashing and burning. He hits him as he rises back up with a picture perfect dropkick between the eyes, dropping him with a thud. Not done yet, KCW grabs the rising Spud and pulls out the Three Amigos, slamming Spud again and again into the canvas. Upon the third time he ascends to the top turnbuckle, calling for end as he leaps off for High Society, driving the air right out of Spud!
KCW hooks the legs!
1!
2!
3!
JB: Here is your winner, the TNA Television Champion, KCW!
And goodnight Spudinsky!
A dominant performance from the champion here tonight. Spud's first night in TNA was far from his best. But sometimes it takes awhile to really take off. Hopefully his next outing will go better.
Well coming up next folks is our TNA Women's title contender match. Who will go on to face Brooke Adams at Against All Odds? We'll soon find out!
