JB: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. The winners will become the number one contenders to the TNA Tag Team Championships!



JB: Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Sting, respectively from New York City and Fairfield, Connecticutt, at a combined weight of 590 pounds, Devon and Matt Morgan!

Sadler: And here come the goons.

Diamond: That's such an offensive term. These two aren't goons! They're more like... associates to EY. And who are you to call The Icon a goon!

Tenay: Goons or not, Matt and Devon can both get it done in the ring. They've earned an opportunity to face the champs before. And with Sting backing them up I suspect those chances may have increased exponentially!



JB: And their opponents, respectively from Johnson City, Tennessee and Jacksonville Beach, Florida, at a combined weight of 432 pounds, Kid Kash and Sam Shaw!

Tenay: When you talk about unorthodox teams these are the first two to come to mind. A few weeks back these two barely knew each other. Yet over time they have shown some impressive skill here in TNA.

Sadler: Agreed. I have to admit I was skeptical when I saw Kid Kash taking advantage of this kid, but they really do seem to have some potential. Tonight could be the night when they make a name for themselves!

Morgan has Kash up, taking him back with a delayed vertical suplex before dropping him to the mat! He covers!

Kash kicks out. Morgan hauls him into his arms, lifting him for a Sit-out Powerbomb! However in mid-lift Shaw sprints to the turnbuckle and leaps over his partner, taking Morgan down with a Diving Leg Drop!

Morgan collapses to the canvas, Kash landing on his chest! Shaw then charges to the corner and nails Devon with a dropkick as he tries to break it up!

Tenay: An amazing move there by Shaw! It's been awhile since I saw such height from a leg drop!

Diamond: I have to admit... that was impressive. Maybe the rookie's got a future yet... but probably not.

Sadler: And that means Shaw and Kash have a date with Williams and Magnus! Will this newly formed team be able to pull off the upset when the time comes?

Tenay: Folks, we're not done yet! We still have three matches to go! Don't go away!

Rejoice good people, rejoice, for your King has returned. Now I may lack the TNA Television Championship but I'm not going to let that spoil my Christmas by any means. Instead, let's focus on the positives. Let's focus on tonight. I'm apart of the X Division... Xmas... Xtravaganza. Hey, don't look at me. I'm not the one who came up with the name. I'm teaming with the so called greatest man that ever lived Austin Aries and the best bro a guy could hope for in Robbie E to take on that lunatic Brian Kendrick and the team previously known as High Flight in a past life, Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy.

Whole lot of talent there in that ring. Former Tag champions, X Division champions, even World Champions. So it begs the question. How does one stand out in a match such as this? Well that's real easy. I continue to do what I've done since day one and simply be the best athlete that professional wrestling has ever seen. Unlike my opponents, the only "higher" power I have to rely on is my god given ability. With A Double and Mr. Fist Pump by my side, there's no way I can fail. Then it's just a matter of time before I get some gold around my waist and if the other wise men aren't happy with their frankincense and myrrh, I have no problem beating them either. Merry Christmas.

Diamond: That's ridiculous. These guys don't have massive egos! They're just very confident in what they do. And hey, confidence is the key to success in this business.

Sadler: Come to think of it, is Robbie E still considered X-Division right now?

Tenay: He is at least for tonight!

Tenay: Right now we are looking at six of the most talented competitors in the X-Division, either in the past or present.

Sadler: Agreed, Mike. These men are the top of their class with athleticism to spare!

Diamond: I may not like all of em, but yeah... I'll admit they can be fun to watch.

Kendrick grabs Robbie E, setting him up for and hitting the Sliced Bread #2! He rises up only to get taken down courtesy of a Brainbuster! Aries looks on with satisfaction only to suddenly get grabbed and taken down with a Twist of Fate! Jeff then turns around just in time for King to hit him with the Coronation!

Rob Van Dam leaps off, but King sees it coming, rolling to the side as Van Dam collides with Hardy via a Five Star Frog Splash! Taking advantage, King tosses Van Dam out of the ring and hooks the leg of Hardy!

Tenay: Some quick thinking there by King! He not only narrowly avoided destruction there, but also turned it around in his own favor!

Diamond: And that's why they call him Kenny KING, Mikey!

Sadler: I suppose so. Switching gears for a second, Diamond, are you ready for your present?

Diamond: Boy, am I! Thought you'd never ask.

Diamond closes his eyes as Sadler unveils a small package. He hands it over, Diamond immediately tearing the contents open.

Diamond: What's this... The Best of the Diamonds in the Rough! Awesome!

He opens the DVD case... only to find nothing inside of it!

Diamond: Why you smug son of a...

Tenay: Now now, Simon. Tis the season. No need to get profane.

Diamond: ...I'm going to Bischoff and Flair about this after the show! No way you're getting away with this crap, Saddle!

Sadler: It's Sadler. And you're welcome.

Sadler grins as Diamond fumes on the other side of the booth, Tenay stifling a chuckle himself.

Tenay: Well folks, let's switch gears as we get ready for a huge fatal four way match with major title implications.

Mickie James, Madison Rayne, and Gail Kim(in a sling) are backstage.

Since Bound For Glory, there have been a lot of questions, such as why did we attack the Beautiful People after our match? They beat us, why did we have to be such poor sports?

People seem to be forgetting that for years, they've been the alpha-bitches of TNA. From Roxie's haircut to running me out of the company the first time, to the Brown Paper Bags, to the way they treated poor Madison, not once, but twice, to just in general being a couple of stuck-up prisses, what happened to them was a long time coming.

Look at Gail's arm. They did that to her. They messed with me when I was at my most vulnerable. Why? Because they could. These women are heartless, yet you all pity them because we gave them a taste of their own medicine? Shame on you.

We're not the bad guys here. The bad guys are TNA's Champions, Velvet Sky, Angelina Love, and Brooke Adams. They cheat. They steal. They abuse. And they lie. That's why it's important for me to win this number one contender's match. For every woman who's ever been messed with, I need to be their Champion. So tonight, I'm going to beat ODB, Hamada, and Taylor. Then I'm going to beat Brooke and take back the Women's Championship for every mistreated woman in the world!

With that, Mickie, Gail, and Madison exit.

We cut to the back where ODB is seen standing by.

So last week I took that bitch, Brooke, and her little chiquita slave down a peg. Heh, that was pretty fun, I have to say. Not to mention thanks to that victory I picked up a shot at regaining the belt I was once familiar with: The TNA Women's Championship.

Of course standing in my way right now are three tough broads looking to put a damper on my little parade: Hamada, Mickie James, and Taylor Wilde.

Now I don't have a beef with either Wilde or Hamada. Honestly I suspect the two of them are in this match for the same reason I am. The three of us all wanna take ol Brooke off her high horse and bring her crashing back down to reality. Of course considering how delusional she is that ain't gonna be an easy feat.

That said I'm gonna do everything in my power to see that I'm the one who gets a crack at her. So much as I wouldn't mind seeing those two smack that she-devil around a little I think I would prefer to give her my own personal touch if you know what I mean.

But as for James... that's a whole different story. Honestly, she and her crew are just as bad as Brooke if not worse! What they did to the Beautiful People... hey, I don't like those stuck up barbie dolls either, but I would never assault them like you did! You can talk all you like about how it was justified, but no matter the reasons you had it still doesn't make them right!

Tonight Mickie, I'm looking especially forward to putting my big ol fist between those evil little eyes of yours. And when I'm done... there's gonna be one sound you hear: BAM!

Sadler: This woman used to be so respectable. Yet she threw it all away because of a grudge she couldn't get over.

Tenay: The Beautiful People and Mickie James and Gail Kim conflict raged on for quite awhile. And with each month things have escalated further. Tonight Mickie is looking to move on though and earn a chance to face the new champion.



JB: And her opponents, first, from Tokyo, Japan, Hamada!

Sadler: One of the most fierce competitors in the entire women's division here. Hamada is all about honor. So obviously she has a huge problem with Brooke.

Tenay: That's right. Ever since Adams stole the title from Melanie Crank alot of women in the back have been shunning our new champion, and Hamada is undoubtedly one of them.



JB: From Minneapolis, Minnesota, ODB!

Sadler: Definitely the most... unique competitor in our match tonight. ODB may not be the prettiest girl at the dance, but she is the one with the most personality!

Tenay: Not to mention she's a former Women's Champion AND Tag Team Champion. With that kind of resume she's got a good shot at winning this one!



JB: And from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Taylor Wilde!

Tenay: A familiar sight to be certain. Taylor and Hamada battled awhile back for a chance at the Women's title. Hamada came out on top last time around so Wilde has something to prove tonight.

Sadler: She's definitely capable of winning the shot. We'll just have to see if she can pull it off.

Tenay: ...You alright there Simon? You seem quiet.

Diamond: ...

Tenay: Okay then, let's get to the match!

Mickie James vs Hamada vs ODB vs Taylor Wilde

M has an idea for it so Mickie plants ODB with a Hostile Makeover!

ODB hefts Mickie onto her shoulders, looking to take her out with the Bam! Mickie however reaches down and rakes her across the eyes, ODB losing her grip as she grasps her face. Mickie then snaps a Mick Kick, clobbering the poor woman and sending her down in a heap. With Hamada and Wilde meanwhile brawling on the outside she makes the cover!

Tenay: And in the end Mickie James manages to sneak her way into victory.

Sadler: Can't say I'm happy with this result, but at the very least we can look forward to two despicable women clobbering one another.

Diamond: ...We can also look forward to ZEMA ION in action next!

Sadler: Well you cheered up in a hurry.

Diamond: Well of course. Now I have reason to get you fired once and for all, Saddlebags! And next week I'm making good on it!

Sadler: Interesting...

Tenay: For now though let's head... to the BACK!

We head backstage where there are a ton of cheering fans. Rosita walks into the shot, waving her pom poms. Following that, Zema Ion charges into the view and spikes a football in the ground.

Zema runs around the shot in all directions, climbing random set pieces and leaping off them in celebration. He lands on his feet and finally composes himself.

S'up nerds.

It is I, the still undefeated, Zema Ion.

And with my win last week, I guess it is time to reveal my prize from the battle royal victory. Rosita, babe, you want to take care of it.

Rosita pulls out a piece of paper.

And I quote:

Thanks Rosita. Well, that second part makes no sense to me. I guess Ol' Ric was just a bit drunk at the wheel at that time.

But the first part is what matters to me. I get to choose the match type. And guess what Ryan, I'm going to keep that bit a secret until the next Impact. But rest assured, I already know how you're defending your gold and let me just say it is in a way tailor made for my victory.

But lets not worry about that tonight.

Of course not. Because tonight I defend my undefeated streak against Alex Shelley. Can Alex Shelley beat Joey Ryan at Final Resolution? I don't know, it doesn't really affect me.

But can he beat me tonight. NO!

Because I am the ring general, the quarterback. I'm the power fullback, plowing through Alex. I'm the speedy halfback, juking and spinning all over Shelley. And I'm the Player of the Game walking away with the game ball.

I've been a born winner since Day One, and that ain't stopping tonight. Too much talent. Too much drive. Tonight Christmas comes early for me, and I receive the same gift that I get every other show. The gift of victory.

Since that's something I'm pretty sure none of you understand, I'll explain the feeling.

Zema acts like he has a secret and pulls the camera in close. He whispers into it.

A smile grows on Zema's face and Rosita plants a kiss on his cheek. The two walk away from the shot.

Diamond: Oh geez, here comes the sleazeball himself.

Tenay: Well we were told we'd have a special guest here tonight for our main event! And what a guest it is!

Joey Ryan joins a fourth seat at the booth.

Gentlemen, fear not, for your TNA World Champion has arrived! I thought I'd come out here and watch my two challengers go at it.

Tenay: Good to have you aboard, Joey. I'm looking forward to seeing what analysis you can bring here to the table.

Diamond: I'm looking forward to when you get rid of that caterpillar hanging out on your face.

Around the same time you lose the monotonous droning voice and do something entertaining.



JB: Introducing first, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at 215 pounds, he is the number one contender for the TNA World Championship, Alex Shelley!

Tenay: What an upswing this young man's career has taken as of late. Ever since Bound for Glory this man's stock continues to rise and rise.

Sadler: And just like with your career after facing Eric Young it all really began to take off after he upset you a few weeks ago

Alex Shelley has always been among the top names in TNA, guys. And now that he's focused solely on his singles career, I think the sky is the limit for him.



JB: And his opponent, from Manila in the Phillipines, weighing in at 170 pounds, he is the number one contender for the TNA X-Division Championship, Zema Ion!

Diamond: Now this guy right here is a real superstar! I tell ya, you strap the rocket to this guy and there's no telling what heights this company will reach!

Tenay: Hold on there, Simon. I'll give Zema his due, but don't you think you're playing him up just a tad?

Diamond: If you ask me, Mikey, you're not playing him up enough! He is without a doubt the best pound for pound athlete in this company if you ask me!

Sadler: Two strong contenders here tonight. Joey, who do you think is gonna win this one?

Far be it for me to try and pick a winner here, boys. I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy what oughta be a hell of a match!

Tenay: Good idea. Then let's get to it!

Alex Shelley vs Zema Ion

Shelley could use the win more, but he hasn't promoed as consistently. So I gotta lean this way.

Alex Shelley snaps off a Hurracanrana, sending Zema tumbling along the mat! He then charges forward, nailing him with a leg lariat! Shelley goes for a cover!

Zema kicks out. Shelley lifts him to his feet and whips him to the turnbuckle. Zema however elevates himself and springs over the charging Alex, grabbing him from behind and snapping off a German Suplex! He bridges for a cover of his own!

Shelley breaks free. He rises back to his feet as Zema follows, catching him in the gut with a thrust kick before springing off the ropes and grabbing him for a Tornado DDT! He spikes Alex into the canvas, hooking the leg!

Shelley gets the shoulder up. Zema slaps the mat in frustation, rising to his feet and over his opponent. He stamps in place, taking a three point stance as he looks for the Quick Six. He charges at the rising Shelley and leaps for it, Shelley catching and countering it into a sit out powerbomb! He holds him down for the count!

Zema gets the shoulder up this time.

Tenay: What a match we are seeing here tonight! These two refuse to let the other keep them down!

Diamond: I bet you're looking forward to this happening to you, eh, Soupy?

Taking nothing away either of these great competitors, but Magnum ain't goin' down for no man!

Shelley starts clapping his hands together, looking to finish this one off as he grabs the rising Zema around the neck, charging toward the corner for Sliced Bread, but Zema shoves him off, sending him crashing into the turnbuckle. Zema then grabs him from behind and drops him with a jumping neckbreaker! He covers once more!

Shelley gets the shoulder up. Zema signals for the end, charging full speed...

Diamond: Here it comes... time for the Extra Point!

But Shelley rolls under the bottom rope, avoiding the attack! Zema nearly loses his balance, grabbing the ropes for leverage. He manages to right himself and then delivers an enziguri, nailing Shelley as he rises and knocking him to the outside! The referee has no choice but to start his count.

Sadler: Zema looking for a win by any means necessary here!

Shelley staggers to his feet, up to the eight count. He climbs onto the ring apron only for Rosita to nail him from behind with her pom pom, a loaded pom pom in this case! Shelley falls back to the ground below with a thud, grasping the back of his head!

JB: Here is your winner by count out... Zema Ion!

Diamond: Ha! What a strategy employed by the dream team of Rosema!

Sadler: A lousy strategy! How does Zema expect to win the belt from Ryan like that! The belt only changes hand via pinfall or submission, after all!

He can try that against me, but it ain't gonna get him too far. Hell, the only thing it's likely to win him is a Mustache Ride...

Tenay: Well by hook or by crook Zema has walked out tonight with his hand raised. But I have a feeling these two will meet down the road once again. And next time Ion might not be so lucky.

Sadler: Ladies and gentlemen, we have an awesome card lined up for you in the coming weeks. Joey Ryan vs Alex Shelley one more time, this time for the TNA World Championship! Only one man can walk out with the gold. The question is who will it be?!

I have a few things to say. I realize that this week was probably a bad week what with the holidays and such coming up. That said I am determined to do everything I can along with Jono to help TNA FAN be the very best it can be.

Undoubtedly right now is a transitional period. Many people have left for now, but at the same time we've gained some new ones in Fake Jesus and some returning ones in Brainbustaaah! Right now is the rebuilding process. Like with WWE Fan I'm trying to be more consistent with our show times and such.

With Jono feeling ill at the moment I will do my best to hold the fort until he's feeling better. This is my first time being responsible for something like this, but I will do my best to give you all the best show that I can.

I have some new and exciting ideas for TNA Fan that I'm hoping to implement soon. Rest assured I will do my best to co-manage this place alongside Jono for as long as I can.
