I'm so glad they did the By The Numbers, was worried they'd forgot this year. It doesn't feel like the Rumble without it now. This, I just want them to release the Rock vs Punk and Del Rio vs Show video packages now. I hope the Rcok vs Punk one is as epic as it should be Also Shelton J. Benjamin @sheltyb803 im in a good mood so for the next ten minutes i'll take a few questions. n just to get this out the way now, NO I AM NOT IN THE ROYAL RUMBLE

Cheap Plug for Urfarkendarf's Royal Rumble Game in the forums section. officialfan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=forumgames&action=display&thread=463635All ya gotta do is sign up and he'll do the rest but he's offering a prize. Hi-Oh! I've decided to run my own Royal Rumble game and it's quite simple. I have room for 30 contestants, so obviously, not everyone who signs up will be able to participate. If I don't get 30 signups, the game will not continue. It works like this: If you sign up, once signups are closed ( 12PM EST ON SUNDAY), I will do a random draw of 30 names from all entries. The 30 people that are drawn will then be put back into a hat and I will draw each name randomly again and you will be assigned a #. That # is your Rumble participant. So say, Epico goes in at #23 and wins. Whoever has #23 is the winner! It's a simple game and I have a t-shirt I got as a gift that I don't want, so its yours if you win. The prize is a t-shirt (size XL) from Barbershopwindow. To sign up, just post in the thread! Please keep jibber jabber to a minimum and this post will be edited on Sunday once the drawing of #'s and names is complete. Good luck! He's about halfway filled and could use more signups. That is, if you're interested in taking part of a game.

Does anyone know how to find viewing parties? I'm here in Vegas with no way of watching The Rumble

It's been fun to watch some of the older Rumbles. Ventura's commentary is amazing. In the first two Rumbles, he's teased: announcers entering right from the announce booth (he said he might come out at #20), women entering (he wondered out loud if Sherri was in the 2nd Rumble), and even the oft-discussed potential scenario of someone coming out last after everyone else is already gone. The guy was ahead of his time.

I'm too lazy to look through all 13 pages, but have any surprise people been speculated? Tagged just to be safe... {Spoiler}The hot favourites are both of The New Age Outlaws, Shelton Benjamin and MVP... Other sites have also reported John Morrison, Tommy Dreamer and even Kaval as possible surprises.

So, since there's been a pretty decent amount of revisionist history over the years when it comes to the odds-on favorite at the Royal Rumble, let's put up or shut up right now. Can it be safely argued that John Cena is the perspective favorite to win the Rumble match, or is there anybody else who really stands as somebody who could be the last man standing?

To me, it all really hinges on who wins Punk/Rock (should that go on before the Rumble). If Punk wins, then it opens up the field greatly. If Rock wins, then... well... {Spoiler}Yeah.

Regardless of zigglers briefcase, I believe he will win on sunday. Cena winning the rumble is too easy to call as the rumble is being promoted in the view that he "guarantees" winning it. I think he'll be screwed at the end and zig will pick up the win. Going foward I think zigglers wrestlemania main event spot will be up for grabs in the elimination chamber when powers that be review the end of the rumble. Cena will go on to win the chamber match and face whoever at mania.
I think ziggler will not use the briefcase untill wrestlemania. On which champion? Who knows.....
Just a rough outline of a possible theory.

Just listened to the themes. "Champion" is the usual "Hip, inspirational" song they've had the last few years, but I really like "What Makes a Good Man". They need more "atypical" themes like that.

Just a rough outline of a possible theory. I can't recall the last time that someone guaranteed a rumble victory and actually won it. There is the probability that Punk wins at the rumble and loses at Elimination Chamber so that Cena/Rock II still happens and makes the rumble less predictable. The thing that I don't really see happening is The Rock winning at the Rumble and defending the title in the elimination chamber. I know its been done before with the champion retaining in EC. I just don't know how WWE will book the rumble and/or EC to not be predictable. I think The Rock and the Elimination Chamber are the variables that will make this year's mania season interesting as The Rock's never been in the chamber before. More importantly, the Raw EC will likely have The Rock, Cena, Punk and Ziggler all involved. What the hell happens then with all of them involved?

They could just have Rock win the belt at the PPV, Punk cash in his rematch clause for EC, anyone but Cena win the Rumble (and choose the WHC), then have Cena win a number one contender Chamber match.
Rock/Punk II, WHC Chamber match, Number One Contender's match for the WWE Championship. Pretty stacked card.

The Fanfest Tournament for a Rumble spot looks like it will be an all-NXT affair. For those who don't want to watch the video, these are the entrants for that tourney...
Adrian Neville Bo Dallas Conor O'Brian Corey Graves Leo Kruger Luke Harper Oliver Grey Xavier Woods

How many pages has a Rumble thread got to in the past before the event? Is this the biggest amount of pages for one?
