Mae Young is an unusually old woman, and her anatomy is more than saggy enough to scare the vast, vast majority of guys away. It wouldn't matter if she's 40 years or 400 years old, anyone who looks like that isn't going to be considered attractive by nearly any guy. But I mean like...nothing for someone like Alicia? I'm by no means her biggest fan but she's quite pretty. Really, not even a hundredth of the votes for her? I know that AJ and Kaitlyn have got some insane fans via twitter and other media and they're probably voting for them tons. Rosa's got that too, hence how her poll numbers jumped to such an insane level. But if you look at this board, you can kind of see where the attention the minority girls get is overshadowed by the whiter ones. |

So people don't find Alicia Fox more attractive than AJ Lee, who cares?

Naomi, Cameron, Alicia, Tamina (outside of appearing 2-3 times before disappearing again) appear very little on TV. Yeah, Naomi and Cameron dance for Brodus but they are shown very little. Who are the three main Diva's right now? AJ, Eve and Kaitlyn. (I don't count Vickie as a Diva plus she's hated so no one is going to vote for her.) They are also the three with the highest votes. If Naomi, Cameron, Alicia or Tamina get a lot of increased TV time then their numbers would go up. |

And there is nothing racist about that. It's the same thing as how one can typically prefer blondes or brunettes. Or older women or younger women. You don't choose to like one or the other. You just like what you like. Hell though, this is a poll where you make one singular choice. Not a ranking. Which means Alicia might have been many people's second or third choice. But that doesn't matter because only your first choice is taken into account. |

Plenty of people will tell you they would never be attracted to/sleep with a woman of color/Black woman. I find it irritating, but there's nothing you can do about it when the majority beauty standard is COMPLETELY antithetical to what Black women tend to look like. Small noses, light skin, long fine hair, light eyes, light skin... This doesn't mean people who feel this way are racist. It's a hard to change a cultural perception of beauty. People who feel this way are not racist, but its way more complicated than just saying "Oh __ is racist because they aren't attracted to this group of people!" I'm a personal trainer and competed in fitness competitions before, and I'm not by any means ugly. However, I like many Black women have gotten the drunken "I'm not into Black girls" "Not you, ugly Black girl" while the guy sauntered over to talk to my Asian/White friend. I laugh at it now but back when stuff like that happened a lot (I was living in an area where I think people only saw Blacks once a year for a Will Smith movie) it was very hurtful. On the other side, I've never seen a guy tell one of my white friends he didn't like her "because she was White". That said, while I think Naomi has an amazing body her face isn't the most attractive in the book. I've seen the Wesley Snipes comparisons. Layla on the other hand is pretty, but has she ever done well in these polls? I can't remember and it seems that no matter how much exposure her character gets she cannot get over. Eve's numbers being so low are funny because she's featured all the time, but never gets any better in fan perception. It's like she's missing "it". AJ Lee is cute but I still don't get the fascination with her. She's generic to me. Probably because she looks just like half my family. Kaitlyn I could not see until they did better photoshoots of her. At times I thought her body could be a bit much, but when you're carrying that much muscle it's a difficult thing to feminize and style, and sometimes your shapeliness can come off looking like fat when it's actually muscle, since women carry muscle differently than men. I think she looks amazing in her fresh off of a work out photos, and she has a very pretty face, one of the prettiest faces I've seen of any diva. |

I feel like I should feel bad for not knowing who these Divas are. I mean, FCW wasn't even on the net, and I was keeping up with the Divas like Naomi and Maxine (or Liviana, if you will); nowadays, the only one I can call off the top of my head is Paige, and I'd probably forget she worked for FCW/NXT if she wasn't constantly brought up here. |
