This really might be the first year I skip Wrestlemania.

It can't be any worse than Wrestlemania 27. I'm sure once the Road to Wrestlemania kicks and the video packages/match builds occur it will turn out ok.

The way things are going we're going to end up with Punk/Miz or something else as uninteresting for Mania.

Maybe its me, but any combo of the big guns is fine with me. HHH is wrestling, get over it.

I've noticed Raw hasn't had any pyro for weeks now. Strange, but I'm sure it costs them a fortune every week.

I refuse to believe that they're doing Brock/Triple H II. Not only because they haven't mentioned the SummerSlam match since HHH had his 'sort-of but not really' retirement speech a few months ago, but also because if they have the 'blow-off' match at Wrestlemania that would mean the feud would have lasted ELEVEN MONTHS.
It also seems incredibly stupid to bring Lesnar back, and waste two matches and about 75% of his appearances on a feud with Triple H that barely has any heat. Its nonsensical. They have plenty of other money-making matches he could be in at Wrestlemania, such as against Undertaker, Sheamus, Orton etc. Hell, if they want a rematch at Wrestlemania it would make more sense for Lesnar to go after Cena and try and get his win back.
I suppose the predicament lies with how Triple H will be involved in Wrestlemania. He can't face Undertaker yet again, a re-match with Lesnar would be redundant. He can't face Punk or Sheamus since they'll probably be in title matches, so who else is there? Ziggler? Barrett? Big Show?

I'm just saying, despite the spin job on this board, they guy is a legend, is super over, and has had awesome matches since becoming part time. His match will feel like wrestlemania.

Yes, because the match he had at Summerslam was so awesome.

The big money match is Lesnar vs Ryback. The irresistible force meeting the immovable object.
And that sucks for Johnny Curtis. Why does he need a gimmick like that anyway? Just have him be Johnny Curtis, and he has little bits of the Fandango character, but simply as Johnny Curtis.

Dear God, the idea of Sheamus winning the Rumble AGAIN and headlining Mania against Orton has brought me out in cold sweats. That sounds f***ing HORRIBLE.

I think no one really is question his abilities, it just this feud has not been very good, they are doing a rematch when they have many more fresh matchups they can do with Brock, plus odds are Hunter is going over since he wants that win back so the match result will be pretty predictable.

Brock/HHH had little heat. The match was mediocre. And no one's been talking about it since it happened. Plus, it makes no sense in kayfabe for HHH to want another match. Yet it's the only match that seems to not have changed during the planning for Wrestlemania. It all just feels like this is more about HHH's ego, rather than putting on a great match, and boosting buyrates.
