Yep. I showed him clips of DKR (think the whole movie would be too dark for him at that age), as he's as big a Batman fan as I am, and he was cowering behind a chair. I asked him why, and he said "Why does Bane talk like that? I don't like it".
He started to get less scared seeing Batman fight him though. He literally fist pumped in the second fight.

"Why does Bane talk like that? I don't like it".
Truer words have never been said.

I might be one of the few people that loved Bane's voice.

I loved Bane's voice. It's intimidating, yet sophisticated. And the echo adds to that. Kinda reminded me of what I felt when I first heard Darth Vader's voice.
Plus it scares away UPS men from messing around with our wives.

Banes voice was the best part of the movie.

Isn't the point of his voice to scare little kids?

I might be one of the few people that loved Bane's voice. Most people I know seem to like it.

He sounds like a particularly theatrical grandpa.
I kept waiting for Bane to offer Batman a hard candy.

Plus it scares away UPS men from messing around with our wives. I didn't like the idea at first, but it fit perfectly. I can see how it'd scare a young kid, though, it comes on, especially early in the film, as so much louder than anything else.

The next time he acts up, say: "Do you feel in charge?" in the Bane voice.

I love the voice. Helps he gets a lot of the best lines in the movie.

I will always maintain that Bane sounds a posh RoboCop.

I love Bane's voice, personally. Felt it was different, and yet fitting.
Admittedly, afterwards, I realized it helped that it reminded me of Darth Vader's.
Well, if Gandalf, Sean Connery and Darth Vader were thrown into a blender.

Bartley Gorman was Hardys inspiration for Bane.

I love the voice. Helps he gets a lot of the best lines in the movie. "Peace has cost you your strength. Victory has defeated you!" One of favorite little moments is his "Search him, then I will kill you." His delivery of that line was so cold.
