I didn't hate the voice, personally. I just can't understand a lot of what he says still.

his voice was awesome , even South Park took note of it. Honestly, Aces and 8s would be a lot better if they acted like that. |

Bane's voice sounds Frank Caliendo or Pablo Francisco doing an over the top Patrick Stewart impression.

I also loved the voice. {Spoiler}And he talks like that because he had his nose badly damaged or possibly ripped off. |

I love the voice. Helps he gets a lot of the best lines in the movie. "Peace has cost you your strength. Victory has defeated you!" One of favorite little moments is his "Search him, then I will kill you." His delivery of that line was so cold. As well as "Do you FEEL in charge?" Such a well done psychological moment. |

I can see it. Bane talks like he's detached; odd. He's got everything together, but there's a broken lilt to his words. I could see why I little kid would think that was creepy.
These are superpvillians, people. They have problems.

Watching the movie again, the part where he's whipping Batman's ass in the sewers and he says, 'and you betrayed us', sounds like a completely different actor.

To me he kind of sounds like Homer imitating Mr. Burns at the post office. If Bane were to say "Hello, my name is Mr. Burns! I believe you have a letter for me!" it would sound nearly identical.

I've called Bane Darth Connery since I saw the movie because of the voice.
I just wish they added subtitles whenever he talked, because I couldn't make out most of what he said.
