I hate sharing a bed! (To the point that I might have ruined a possible relationship last night)
How do married people do it? I have a queen and if there's anyone in it I can't sleep at all and almost always get up in pain, whether my body is touching theirs or not. I HATE it.
You?

Not married, but I've shared beds with people for years and it never really bothered me.
How do I do it? Most of its just falling asleep. Work especially well on cold nights.

Strangely enough, whenever I'm sleeping next to someone, I tend to fall asleep faster. When I'm alone, it can take a long time if I'm not tired.

I don't mind sharing a bed, but I hate sharing blankets.

It takes A LOT of getting used to. I'd recomend going to bed when you're so tired that you won't even notice the other person there.

Sleeping head to toe usually solves the problem of space. unless the other person decides to do gymnastics while they sleep.

I feel this too, I always sleep better with my GF than on my own. We have friends who are recently married but have lived together for a few years and both of them hate touching in their sleep, they have to have a huge bed so there's no chance of them touching each other by accident. IMO, there's few things as special as snuggling up to someone you love at night so this seems pretty weird to me.

See I never had a problem with sharing a bed with my partner until she started working nights and I got the bed to myself
Now whenever she's off and we go to bed together at night it does take some adjusting to. I generally prefer sleeping back to back when actually going to sleep as it gives me a little bit of space so I don't feel crowded
A few weeks ago however I was woken up at 3am or something and it feel like I was on the edge of the bed with her pressed right up against me so I went to push her to her side of the bed and.......well I pushed her so hard she went flying off the bed. Yeah she wasn't best pleased with me to be honest ha

Honestly, I haven't done it much, but to me its the size of the person. This one chick barely moved, I had no room, so I was just like "This bitch needs to get up outta my bed" for hours.

Not being with anyone at the minute I miss it. There's just something about having someone next to me that helps me get to sleep quicker.

I've not shared the bed with anyone but I could see myself hating it.

I spent the first 24 years of my life sleeping solitary. I've spent the last 9 with my wife... I'd have a rough time sleeping alone now.

I'm an annoying cuddler, so I love having someone by my side. Even when my lady wants to be apart for the night, I know I'll get some mornin' lovin' hours later

Depends on the size of the bed! I've got a single bed, and sharing it isn't one of the most comfortable things ever, due to the fact I'm usually the one getting lay upon, but I've stayed at girls who've had bigger beds, and it's usually enough space for me to splay.

As long as the person who I'm sharing the bed with doesn't snore or make annoying sleep noises, I'm fine. A few years ago I had to share the same bed with my mum when we moved into my grandma's house (where we still are) and it was so annoying since she snores. Thankfully, I have my own room now.

when i crash at my friends place, i sleep in their bed with them and fall asleep fine.
with my ex, we're both tall people, so space was a huge issue. i had my nose right up against the wall some nights. we could nap together, but i never got a good nights sleep

My wife and I share the bed relatively well, but we did have to take the step of buying two comforters. I toss and turn A LOT and I ended up violently pulling the covers off her a bunch of times. When we first got married and shared a twin bed I blasted her with an elbow one night.
