So earlier today I came to learn what was being said at the beginning of The Shield's theme song:
"Sierra Hotel India Echo Lima Delta: SHIELD" followed by the generic guitar riff.
Of course this is phonetic military code speak or something like that, but I didn't have a clue what was being said until someone else pointed it out to me.
How many of you actually knew and understood what was being said to their theme song?

Thought it was pretty obvious, to be honest.

It makes the theme IMO, I marked for it the second I heard it.

That ''generic'' guitar riff is pretty awesome, though.

I really couldn't tell. I thought it was just random walkie talkie noises.

First time I heard the theme song it sounded like generic military people saying the codes then you hear Dean Ambrose saying "...SHIELD".
I was mind f**ked when I read what they were saying

That ''generic'' guitar riff is pretty awesome, though. Sounds like the riff from Taz's theme slowed down.

I couldn't make out what they were saying, and initially thought one of them said "Chicago" so I thought they were listing cities. When I had the chance to listen and rewind I realised what they were saying.

who cares? it's a great theme IMO. enjoy it while you can because if they get over enough WWE will commission some Nickleback wannabes to compose new music for them.

As an air force brat, I got it right away. The music in the theme is pretty cool.... the intro makes it f***ing awesome! If we get this theme in WWE14 (or whatever we get), everyone who makes comic book CAWs has their Nick Fury theme.

A more appropriate opening would be "911 what's your emergency- HELP ME THEY'RE INSIDE MY HOUSE!"

Yeah, it was pretty obvious to me. When it played at TLC (I haven't been watching RAW so don't know if their theme had already been played at this point) I noticed it and thought, oh, that's really cool.
