Thought it was a brilliant cartoon, just a shame the finale was such a let down

It was a good series that got better as it went. The Skrull storyline also didn't have a satisfying ending for me. I think after that came the mandate for more stand-alone episodes.

Just got into it. I find it surprisingly good. It hits the spot where Justice League left off.

I would've loved to see Cap "quit" briefly, resurfacing as "The Captain" for a couple of episodes, then returning to the red-white-and-blue.

Yeah, there was still recurring plots like Vision and Kree got a 2 parter.
Finale to the Skrull storyline was just Cap comes back, they beat em up and they win. I know, what else was it going to be but I finished the episode thinking this wasn't a big deal. Especially the ep before with Cap and others escaping feeling real anticipation for the next.

At least the animated adaptation didn't end with Norman Osborn appearing out of nowhere and stealing the glory by stopping the Skrulls.

Hulk's voice actor is the only one reprising the voice. Iron Man and Captain America's voice actors will be replaced by the voice actors from Ultimate Spider-Man and will likely have a stronger continuity with that show.

How can that be though, since EMH had adult Cage and Fist while USM has teen cage and fist (unless the latter are revealed to be genetic clones or something, but then they'd be accused of stealing all the clone stuff from young justice)?

THAT'S OUR BENDIS! *cue cheesy 60s sitcom music* even as a slavishly devoted T-bolts fan that made no sense. there was absolutely 0 build to that, unless you count Norman's crazy awesome rant in Thunderbolts about what he'd do if he was president (and Dark Reign wasn't anywhere near as awesome as that rant either).
