Didn't virtually all his merch have the Dibiase Posse "crosshairs" logo. Maybe they removed it to not seem insensitive after the school shooting - don't want to be seen selling those kinds of items to kids. Y'know, the more I think about it, this actually seems really plausible.

Wasn't his shirt down to $1.99? I know it wasn't the greatest shirt in the world, but isn't there a chance it actually sold out? $1.99 for a WWE shirt, or any shirt really is pretty tempting in itself. And the reasoning for it being $1.99 being as obviously it wasn't too popular since he hasn't been on television.

If he is gone he will be missed by me at least. I thought he couldve had a a decent midcarder push when the Dibiase Posse was going on but he got hurt. Hopefully he goes and hones his craft and can come back in a couple of years.

I always felt Maryse would've been better off as Miz's arm candy while he was WWE Champion instead of Dibiase. They would've had better chemistry because of their real life relationship and it would've just fit perfectly with what Miz was doing with his character at the time. As for Dibiase, if he sticks around, then yeah, the tag team route is probably the best way to go. What's going on with Brett anyways? Is he done completely with wrestling? Because a Dibiase Brothers tag team could've worked. Yeah, too much chemistry

He fights heels, throws the tailgate parties for the fans to show his appreciation for them. What a waste.

Guys like Ted are the reason that tag teams and managers exist. He was solid in the ring (and had a really swank rebound lariat) but had no personality/charisma to speak of. He needed somebody who could cover up for his personality deficiencies.

And there's nothing wrong with that.

And there's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with that, except that people THINK there is something wrong with that. Because of the idea that tag teams exist to cover up flaws, as well as WWE's "only the main event matters" booking, people would just complain that he's supposedly "holding back" the perceived better half of the team. And that does nothing for Ted except make him a pariah because it's supposedly his fault that his partner hasn't reached a certain level yet.

Call him Michael McGillicutty instead of Ted DiBiase and I don't think anyone would have cared about him.

I would say Ted should try his hand at either TNA or ROH. Frankly though, I've always found Ted boring both in the ring & on the mic.

Ted Dibiase is like the most boring wrestler ever in terms of everything. Even others with the no charisma label have something going for them. Ted is just plain all around.
I guess this situation is no surprise and I have feeling there will be others following him out the door. I guess this is to be expected given the recent NXT call ups and the possibility of others in the future.

It's also weird to think that he had any merch in the first place. Look at, say, AJ, who's been consistently around the main event for the entirety of 2012. She doesn't have any merch, but Ted DiBiase does? Funny, Santino Marella gets a new shirt every 6 months and AJ has nothing. Honestly, I can't even think of one piece of Ted Jr. merchandise that didn't involve the words "Legacy" on it.

Damn, hoping he's not been cut. Even if he's kind of lacking in mic skills and is getting injury-prone, DiBiase is awesome in the ring.

You tend to see at least one or two Santino shirts in the crowd.
