In the days where so much content is available in so many different ways and where its easy to binge watch entire runs I'm just wondering how other people consume TV seasons?
I personally have 1 drama at a time I'm watching on netflix for serious viewing which I will binge watch runs of episodes quite often, and then 1 comedy at a time for casual viewing, I then only have like 2 or 3 shows on at the moment I watch weekly (via hulu) I also have another 3 or 4 currently airing shows that I will not watch for a few weeks and then watch the latest 3 or 4 episodes at the same time on hulu plus.
I don't watch anything at all via broadcast TV anymore

I still use normal TV, usually just for wrestling, boxing and the occasional other programme that interests me.
Internet I use to watch older shows that don't come on anymore (re-watching Sabrina the teenage witch at the moment) or shows that don't get shown in England (Also watching through One Piece).

Regular Show, Annoying Orange, Hot In Cleveland, The Big Bang Theory - I watch as they air.
Pawn Stars, Storage Wars - I watch the next morning on DVR before work.
ALF, Happily Divorced, Home Run Derby (ESPNClassic), old One Day At A Time re-runs - I watch when I feel like it - usually on the weekend. My wife watches ALF in a big 2-hour block on Friday night (it airs on The Hub on Thursday night); I can only go 2 episodes before I start dozing off.

I usually wait for a season to be released on DVD, then I can watch it whenever I want to and not wait another week to find out it was all just a dream.

I usually consume them with my eyes, but I've consumed more than a few shows via anal suppository.

Sky+/DVR for nearly everything especially now you can download stuff straight from the iplayer.
The internet for a handful of shows that take too long to arrive here or get lost on the way.

Broadcast TV, I save mainly for WWE and baseball. The only shows I watch are ongoing series that I like (South Park, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead), or if a preview catches my attention, and thus, I give the show a chance. If I like the show enough, I'll continue watching it (Arrow...although that's the only show I DVR, since it comes on at the same time as WWE Main Event). If not, I just move on. I used to watch a lot of reruns on TV, but given the options of today, I haven't done that lately. My main interest in TV is classic TV (which came from all the reruns I watched growing up), and I have a lot of classic shows on DVD, and in The Twilight Zone's case, Blu-ray. I also usually buy season sets of whatever shows I follow on TV. If a DVD or Blu-ray is cheap, I'll blind buy it and watch from there. If I enjoy it, great...if not, it either sits on my shelf and collects dust, or I sell it if I can get most of my money back (sometimes, I even make a profit). Recommended shows...for that, I utilize either Netflix or Hulu, or I download it from "those friendly guys with pirate hats" ...if I enjoy the show, I add it to the "to buy" list, where I'll eventually buy season sets on either DVD, or if available, Blu-ray, when the price is right.

outside of QI, Game of thrones and Doctor Who, I dont watch TV, this makes it quite easy.
If someone suggests something, and I trust their judgement, I will pick up the boxset x

I watch Breaking Bad, The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, Dexter, Doctor Who, and WWE as they come.
All other shows I generally watch on Hulu or Netflix or sometimes other means. I pick a single show at a time and watch a single episode a day. I like to savor the flavor. This has resulted in a bloated Instant Queue, but at least it gives me stuff to watch for a long time to come.

At Uni I always have my laptop or PS3 hooked up to the TV so never actually use it as a TV. Therefore, I watch all stuff that's going on the day after it airs on the internet. Now if it's a series I haven't watched before (for example I've just finished watching The Wire) I will consume it whenever I've got the time. Whether that is just 10 minutes of an episode or a full 5 or 6 episodes back-to-back.
So in two different ways I guess.
EDIT:
Don't think sport counts but just in case I watch all sports events (that I care to watch) live.

If it's on, I'll watch it.
If it slipped by me, I'll flip out and watch like six seasons of it when I'm off one day.

Aside from wrestling, I basically watch King of Queens and Seinfeld on DVR, and occasionally watch Conan. In other words, TBS and USA/Syfy.

Usually as they air or DVR. Some on netflix and a little on hulu. When my Direct contract is up I'm going to try to renegotiate for one those dvr's that record five shows at once.

Other than sports, I don't watch anything live. Broadcast tv, I get via antenna and record on a TIVO. I watch I later so I can fast forward through the commercials. The TIVO streams Netflix and amazon prime so we get 90% of the cable shows we used to watch. For movies, we either go to the Redbox on the corner or the library a block past that.
