I know this is probably an easy answer, but, it's always bugged me and i've never asked or seen it answered..
If anyone remembers this event, Undertaker and Kane fought, yet the Undertaker was dressed in normal clothes. This was way before bikertaker, during the height of his dark side run.
Why was he dressed like that?

They lost his ring gear at the airport and he had to borrow the clothes from Bryan Adams as he was wearing a tracksuit for the flight.
Remember reading this is powerslam magazine.

I've wondered the same thing. I'll always remember the add that aired on most WWF home videos around that time.
"Yes! Yes! Yes! It's all over for the Deadman!"
On another note, why the hell was Brakkus in the opener? He hadn't even debuted on TV yet.

I was at this show. A lot of people in the crowd wondered why Taker wasn't wearing his gear. We all assumed that because he was attacked before the match started that he didn't have time to change (we were marks). People were more pissed that this match between Taker and Kane lasted 5 minutes and it took one Tombstone for the victory when at Wrestlemania a few weeks before, it took three to beat him
