Has there ever been a time in wrestling where any of the belts have mattered as little as they do now? I despised Jeff Hardy's IC reign in 09' when he would go for the world title. I'm sure there were times when guys would stop Jeff in gorilla, just when he's about to go out, and tell him that he forgot his IC belt.

I disagree. Miz vs Kofi was a fun little feud over the belt and Kofi vs Barrett has been good too.

No,it still meant something when Miz won it. It got back to what you're saying when Kofi earned it since it just felt like another day at the office.

Just get rid of the thing. That and the U.S. Championship. The WWE Championship can be the top belt. The World Heavyweight Championship can be the second-tier belt. We don't need anything else. In fact, all the way up until 1997 WWE only had two singular men's titles and it worked just fine. A "second-tier World Title" just feels wrong.

Yeah, I argue that Miz killed it, based on being beaten into powder this year, even while as Champion.

Yeah, in that scenario, scrap the WHC and merge the IC and US titles into your second-tier title

The only title I think should be retired is one of the world titles, because with the brand split practically over two top champions makes no sense. I say keep the three remaining single titles, so you have a format similar to Punch-Out: US Title = Minor Division IC Title= Major Division WWE Title = World Division Also, Tensai's gimmick is changed to King Hippo, and Kozlov comes back as Soda Popinski.

What I like about Miz is that even as a pure jobber, the guy still carries himself like a top star and makes everything he's doing look important. The casuals still think Miz is a big deal even though he's been jobbing all year. The Miz really bigged himself up as the Intercontinental Champion. We need more guys like that.

The World title has been clearly secondary to the WWE title for years now. At this point, the only thing making it a world title is its name. But even then, you can make the IC or US title your second-tier belt for all I care. The point is just to have two singular belts.

They should just unify the WWE and World, and IC and US titles. And have all four champions(WWE, IC, Tag, and Divas) roam through the brands(not like they don't already do). Eh, who am I kidding, just kill the brand split already.

Is that suppose to somehow be Christian's fault?

The Champ needs wins, and Christian actually was beating people in non-title matches from time to time, instead of losing practically every week. At one point, I felt the IC Title was below the TNA TV Title in value, because at least that Champion won his matches. I feel though as the US Title has had a huge boost thanks to Antonio Cesaro. He loses sometimes, but when he does lose, those losses normally mean something and that person gets a title shot, as they should. Everyone and their dog beat The Miz and didn't get a shot, so it seemed like they were all better then Miz and his Championship.

No real significant buildup or storylines? {Spoiler}Was Wade Barrett not feuding with Kofi Kingston for over a month?

Christian was all set to have a legendary reign... I'll stop you right there. Is it even possible to have a legendary reign these days? The closest we've gotten to it would probably be Punk's reign, and plenty of people swear blind that it's been a 400+ day dud. Cena's run a couple years back was pretty legendary.
