That or I've seen a offense that was Jets level if not for Peterson. You mean like ours before Peyton came to the rescue? Seriously, without Manning were a below 8-8 team with either Tim Hassleback or Tannehill as the QB. They won 8 games last year with a QB who cant throw a football. Denver found a few ways to win outside Manning, he was the Broncos MVP certainly, but a Petersonless Vikings team would have won 3 or 4 games

Crazy stat: Adrian Peterson finished with 2,096 yards, 1,019 of those yards after contact.

Honestly even Dallas wins I can't see them beating the Seahawks next week.

I'd vote Peterson as the MVP, and Peyton as the Comeback Player of the Year.

Because Peyton came back from a career ending injury, joined a new team, had his 2nd or 3rd best season and led them to a 1 seed and a bye. Only thing AD had going for him over Peyton was the record and he didn't get it. Exactly. The only reason AP is even in the discussion is because of the record and he was 9 yards short. Denver had (before this week) the sixth best defense in the league. The Vikings aren't even in the top half. Sorry, but God Manning isn't out there sacking the quarterback or stuffing runners. "Pretty good" isn't as valuable as being the sole reason your team is in the playoffs. If Manning wins MVP it'll be one of the largest snubs ever, and a perfect display for how much people overvalue the quarterback.

You mean like ours before Peyton came to the rescue? Seriously, without Manning were a below 8-8 team with either Tim Hassleback or Tannehill as the QB. You had Tebow and your defense is still good enough to be an average team. There was less than no chance in hell Tebow was returning to Denver. It was either Manning or a Tannehill/Hassleback combo. Yeah our d is good but if they had to duplicate last year we'd be looking at the AFC West champ San Diego Chargers.

Yeah, everybody knew Peterson wouldnot only come back to full form, but he would more than likely have the best season for a running back in NFL history. Peterson was THE dominant back this season. Manning is in the mix with a hanful of other QBs

A lot of people thought Peterson would be a shadow of his former self. Yeah he'd come back, but as half the RB he once was after suffering a career threatening injury
