I think Kharma has to be in the running for biggest flop in WWE history, no? I find it a bit unfair to call her a flop at all, given the circumstances in which she was absent.

If you're counting people who asked for their release, you missed Armando Estrada.
I'm serious.

I think Kharma has to be in the running for biggest flop in WWE history, no? Hard to call her a flop given the outside circumstances... I would give the honour to Kozlov, or maybe Scott Steiner.

The only people in that list that actually got released were Kharma and Goldust AW did, too. Remember that whole furore when he got released?

I think Kharma has to be in the running for biggest flop in WWE history, no? 'Knock, knock' 'Who's there?' 'Braden Walker'

I still feel it was kinda her fault. If she'd disclosed her pregnancy, she might not have gotten signed right away, but would've eventually. Now she's been hired & fired already, which doesn't look as good.

I think Kharma has to be in the running for biggest flop in WWE history, no? In the running, sure. Winning? Pretty much every ex-WCW star not named Hulk Hogan, Rey Mysterio or Booker T would beg to differ.

Armando? I thought he'd been released years ago. Me too actually. Not very many releases from WWE this year. It'd be interesting to see how many releases there were in 2011 for comparison. Though perhaps it can be explained by the addition of 2 and a half hours extra programming each week and thus the need for more matches thus more superstars (1 more hour of Raw, 1 hour Main Event, 30 minute Saturday Morning Slam). I don't know exactly how a WWE contract works but I'd assume when they release someone they have to pay up a certain percentage of their remaining contract. Perhaps they have chosen to release fewer people for financial reasons? To release someone and sign someone new must be more expensive I'd have thought, than just keeping someone (depending on who it is of course). Either way it's no bad thing to stick with the majority of their roster and in theory give them more of an opportunity to connect with the audience in my view.

Its kind of hard to disclose something that hadn't happened yet. Anyway, I clicked this thread expecting the annual "Future Endeavors" video. Oddly enough, I look forward to it every year...

To me, it seems most of the mass cuts are done in developmental these days.

Obviously miss Edge, but even he was getting stale. Jericho was losing steam, Beth was used up and the rest were jobbers or useless padding.
The only real loss here, imo, is Kharma, based solely on the idea of 'what might have been.'

I think Kharma has to be in the running for biggest flop in WWE history, no? Maybe. I think Nathan Jones has a good chance at it, but he wasn't as well known by the IWC as Kharma. Hey, at least he was involved in an Undertaker streak match, and in kayfabe, pretty much saved the streak itself. That's more than most get.
