If they hire Reid, then that will be all the proof I need to know that the GM is Kansas City's biggest issue. Yea man, the guy who has reached 4 conference title games, was the league's longest tenured coach, and until the past two years, was consistently in the playoffs sure does suck. People are way too harsh on Andy Reid based upon his awful clock management and the past 2 seasons. Yes, he did do all of that. Several years ago. Now, he seems to have lost all of that coaching ability.

You know, with Reid out of Philly it means no more of those "I'm calling a timeout. I need to get me a cheesesteak!" type of jokes from people in terms of Reid's poor timeout callings.
Those kind of things made me love whenever an Iggles game was on, thanks to the Iggle fans here.

Well, Jerry Reese pretty much stated on an interview with Mike Francesa that Justin Tuck's sticking around for at least another year and he's confident that he can be the Tuck of old. Terrell Thomas is probably moving to safety as it's suggested it'll be easier on his knee. Really a shame how that turned out. Terrell Thomas was really good, but those knee injuries have been killer. On other offensive and defensive players, Reese said that if they have to make tough decisions, they will be prepared to make them.
Still hope Webster's gone. And probably Osi, too.

He didn't magically become a bad coach, he just couldn't overcome the line and his shaken up starting QB.

Also something I have wondered, when you guys first encountered the NFL threads here, how did you react to the fact that the Cowboys fans here were nice, calm(when a Cowboys game wasn't on), and realistic minded instead of the braying jackasses that a lot of the Cowboys fans are?

Cowboys Fans were always in 2nd place to drunk butthole Packer Fans... which this board is also lacking. Thankfully.Although truth be told I've only ever met these people in real life at games, so maybe it's a stereotype that only exists when you are a child in a Viking's Jersey being called a little fa$@%$% about 75 times before I even made it into Lambeau. It was a Tommy Kramer Jersey too. HOW CAN YOU HATE TOMMY KRAMER YOU CHEESE EATING HEATHENS

Pleasantly surprised! Still hate the Cowboys and most Cowboys fans, but the ones here are intelligent and pleasant. Unlike the frontrunning schmucks I grew up with in the 90's when Aikman and Smith were tearing it up.

I love the Cowboy population we have here. They aren't overbearing when they actually succeed and they get the fact that most of us think it's hilarious the way they constantly flame out. No one takes things personally.

So guys, out of the three rookie QBs playing this weekend - do you think any one of them has any more pressure to deliver than the other(s)?
I think there's pretty much an equal amount of pressure on all of them.

I think there's pretty much an equal amount of pressure on all of them. Looking at it from the outside I'd say RGIII and Luck are equal but when you dig into the teams I think it changes. I think Wilson is playing with very little pressure to be honest. Very few if anybody expected this out of a 3rd draft pick for any point in his career, let alone year 1. Plus that team is relying heavily on the running game and defense. RGIII has some but not much because I think people are starting to see that it's not all him, they can stop RGIII but then you have to deal with Morris. So I really think Luck has the most on him. He is the only thing the offense (really the team) has going for it and if you stop him, you stop the Colts.

I honestly never knew a Cowboys fan before coming here. IRL I only knew fans of the Jets, Giants and Falcons (mostly for Vick), and every forum I joined before this had little to no sport fans.

If you had to guess one game on this past weekend's schedule that contained a fight in the stands in which an entire section of the stadium was ejected, which would it be?
Since you (and all other human beings with brains) said "Raiders at Chargers", congratulations, you're correct!
Language (well, it's Oakland fans and San Diego fans. No kidding there's foul language)

Just think, if the officials didn't f*** up the Tate call:
A) Bears make the playoffs b) Lovie Smith is not fired C) Seattle doesnt make the playoffs D) Green Bay would have had a first round bye
Just food for thought

In addition to Colts OC Bruce Arians, the Chargers are reportedly "high" on ex-Penn State's Bill O'Brien.
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns will be prepared to make Oregon coach Chip Kelly "an offer he can't refuse" if this weekend's interview goes well.

2 biggest keys for the Giants next year:
1. Healthier Hakeem Nicks. He never really got on track after getting hurt in that 200 yard game against Tampa. Victor Cruz gets all the love, but remember it was Nicks that was huge in the playoffs against Atlanta (long TD after 4th down stop) and Green Bay (end of 1st half hailmary).
2. More sacks.

I think Luck has a lot less pressure on him than people think. He's like Wilson in that no one expected their teams to be in this position. Colts went into the season expecting it to be a rebuilding year and instead got a 10 win season and a playoff spot. As far as I'm concerned they're playing with house money.
RG3 probably has the most pressure on him because I think his expectations were the highest. And he's still not 100% so I don't know how effectively he can run. But then there's Alfred Morris to really help with that running game.

I think Wilson has the most pressure this week.
Luck is going against a team with massive playoff experience. This same team also gets their defensive leader back, and he announced that this would be the end of his career. So the Ravens are going to be pumped up big time. Also Luck took his team from 2-14 to the playoffs.
RGIII got his team into the playoffs, but he's not at 100% and the Skins are going against a red hot team. That takes pressure off of RGIII, because he's hurt and going against the hottest team in the league.
Wilson on the other hand, is leading the hottest team in the league. The Seahawks are going against a QB that's not 100%. So there's more pressure on Wilson to win this week.
