Just to spite some of the Eagles Fans, I hope the Chiefs dominate under Reid. As an Eagles fan, I'd love to see Reid do well where ever he goes. The guy took the franchise higher than anyone else in its history and he will be remembered fondly. Despite the lack of a title, there won't be any lingering ill will against Reid as time passes. For his fall off, everything started with the death of DC Jim Johnson. Johnson had the Eagles as one of the best defenses in the NFL for several years and Andy was never able to replace him. Reid also adopted a different philosophy in his later seasons than the one that made his successful in the first place. Suddenly, the Eagles were bringing in far too many big name FA's and it just never worked out. And, if Reid is hired by KC, Pioli will be gone. Reid had a lot of power in Philly and will want something similar in KC I'd assume.

The Josh Brown Jr./Jerry Brent story only gets worse as ESPN is reporting that the autopsy shows Josh Brown was sober the night he was killed in the crash.

Just think, if the officials didn't f*** up the Tate call: A) Bears make the playoffs b) Lovie Smith is not fired C) Seattle doesnt make the playoffs D) Green Bay would have had a first round bye Just food for thought No, Seattle at 10-6 would have still made the playoffs and would still have been the #5 seed. and the Bears would have still missed the playoffs. Seattle beat both Minnesota and Chicago head-to-head, and Minnesota would have better division record than Chicago(Vikings finished 4-2 by splitting with Bears and Packers and sweeping Lions; Bears finished 3-3 by splitting with Vikings, sweeping Lions, and being swept by Packers).

So you had a guy who could be a designated driver with you...........and you still wanted to drive. Brent.........not only are you going to have to live the rest of your life with this horrible tragedy, but you are also going to have to live with that this could have all definately been prevented if you were not a freaking moron.

One of these days I wish one of these universities would call the coach's bluff and let him leave. Penn State had all the leverage with the buyout. O'Brien parlayed interviews into a bigger raise. It's smart of him to do but this type of stuff happens every year.

I hate when media do that. There's no answer to it that won't land the coach in hot water. a. Answer one way, it then becomes a distraction and leverage for other teams to recruit kids to their teams rather than yours. b. Answer another way, you potentially close a door to the advancement of your career. Possibly burning some bridges forever. c. Answer neither way and both a and b happen. Media should save those questions for post-season. Or coaches unite and have a unified answer of "i'm only answering questions about this season until this season is over". Scott Pioli is officially out as Chiefs GM and an Andy Reid has apparently 'reach an agreement' with the Chiefs. Some sources are saying that Reid reach a 5 year deal with KC.
Reid is expected to officially be announced as the new coach sometime later today.
Also, the Chiefs will travel to Philadelphia to face the Eagles as early as next season.

Well I'm happy for Chiefs fans. The results won't be overnight and 2013's likely a rebuilding year, but Pioli out and having a new head coach in Andy Reid are two fantastic moves for the team. I imagine Reid's hiring lead to Pioli leaving, which already means he's made a positive impact.

You can only live off being the guy who drafted Tom Brady for so long.

Now to see how Reid's staff pans out. kind of amazing how not long ago, he was THE guy everybody wanted to poach from New England, when ironically, Atlanta got the better GM (Dimitroff). Outside of Eric Berry, I don't think he's drafted one player people consider a good piece for KC. All the Chief's best players were drafted by Peterson and Herm
