I mean, Silva is nearing Sammartino in length of reign, GSP isn't far behind, both of them have been caught cheating, and I haven't seen a decent fight out of either of them since Sonnen/Silva 1
Frankly I want to see their fight just because it means there's a 99% chance one of them will lose

I agree, but I disagree a tad as well. I still want to see Bisping/Silva and I would have liked to see Shields/St. Pierre II (but since Shields dropped weight, that won't happen anytime soon, if at all), but the only real fight that probably has any money is the two going against each other.

The fans aren't. They're still the UFC's two biggest draws.
And I thought GSP and Anderson's last fights were both good, although for entirely different reasons.

Sonnen's douchebaggery gave me a new respect for Silva.
GSP on the other hand I never cared about. I don't care about watching him fight and would like to see him lose already so people will shut up about him.

Silva can be entertaining. While I respect GSP skill, good hell when was the last time he finished a fight?

Silva can be entertaining. While I respect GSP skill, good hell when was the last time he finished a fight? 2009 maybe? I think Matt Serra was his last real finish. I don't count the fight against Penn. It looked like it would've ended in a decision anyway.

I always wanted each to take on the new challenge of moving up a class. Don't see that happening though. Silva might but Jones is in the way and subsequently GSP might but Silva is in the way. Only way I see it is if Dana is willing to set precedent in terms of money to make it worth the risk for GSP to go up weight for Silva or Silva to go up and fight Jones.

When has Silva cheated? I heard about the greasing thing in the last fight with Sonnen, but when else?

What is this business about both having been caught cheating?

What is this business about both having been caught cheating? I just remember Penn accusing GSP(falsely) and Anderson getting wiped down before the fight started against Sonnen.

GSP, nah, but Silva? Hell yeah. Never really liked him. Dunno why, just doesn't appeal to me.

Anderson Silva is obviously cheating. He found a Game Genie that can be used to hack the Matrix.

I'm always entertained by Silva.
GSP on the other hand is like the MMA equivalent of the Klitschko's. Awesome jabbing, great ring presence/awareness, but boring fights. Add great wrestling to that too, but for some reason, UFC finds a way to make wrestling boring too (tackle & lay).

Silva's finishes are usually pretty thrilling looking. GSP on the other hand, used to be one of my favorites but hes absolutely boring as shit now, all he does is lay and pray, I get that wrestling/grappling is just a big a deal as striking but when all he does is lay there cause hes bigger than most of the division...somethings wrong, I cant believe the UFC crowd hasnt turned on him by now

What is this business about both having been caught cheating? Both of em have deliberately rubbed the vaseline from their face to their body before, and there was also Silva grabbing Sonnen's shorts and trying to knee him in the face

I have zero interest in seeing them fight each other and would much rather see Silva vs Bones.
And to be fair to GSP I really don't see how anyone can blame him for not being interested in fighting the Spider. Not to mention It does seem unfair to criticize him or not taking a fight at a weight class that he has never fought at before let along fight the best guy in that division.
