"The Piranha" Edge.
Which led to one of the most unintentionally hilarious lines from Mark Henry "Not even a Piranha can take out a Silverback!"

Didn't he also call himself "The Alpha" or some other name related to God?

Back in Smackdown of 2006. The Piranha thing went along with Edges "Ultimate Oportunist" phase and Mark Henry was calling himself a Silverback because he was "King of the Smackdown Jungle." My quote was from a pre-tape Mark did before a #1 Contenders battle Royal.

Come to think of it, was "The Last Outlaw" Undertaker ever used outside of the buildup to Wrestlemania 27?

"King-Fish" for Jerry Lawler. Shane McMahon always called him that when they hosted Sunday Night Heat together.

I recall Tazz and Michael Cole referring to Brock Lesnar as a "manster" a few times back in his first run. I'm quite glad that didn't stick I think they realized it sounded like a gay porn file sharing website and called it a day. It always sounded too close to hamster for me. Then I think of Sid Vicious, then I think of Richard Gere, then I don't want to think anymore.

"The Monarch of the Mat" & "The Wrestling Aristocrat" for HHH.
I get where JR was going with it, and it's a very nice callback to the blueblood Hunter Hearst Helmsley character, but it just didn't stick at all.

"Blackheart" Owen Hart "The One" Billy Gunn "The Army Tank With A Ferrari Engine" Husky Harris I loved "The Black Hart" for Owen. He seemed like such a bad ass right after Montreal but DX made sure that didn't last.

A lot of the "insult" nicknames superstars try to get over for other superstars are hilari-bad, (John Cena made CM Punk 'CM Sucks', Smelly Kelly/SkirTiffany/Piggie James all by laycool. Jomo tried to get Mr.Ziggels for Dolph and my favorite, Derrick Bateman pushing the crowd to call The Miz 'Turd Ferguson')
I know its not exactly the same, but its the same general idea.

"The Cleveland Screamer" The Miz And I think we should all be thankful for that, considering just how it could be botched...

Here's an obscure one. Sideshow Bob for Carlito.

Not really a nickname per se, but I loved how hard they tried to get over Miz as a cold, Orton-esque career killer in late 2011. Like some kind of iceman, they said at the time.
