I like that you're reviewing albums that you haven't listen to for the most part. Maybe it would be cool, if you continue to do this, to do an album that you like as a sort of reward for doing all the others.
Your writing is MUCH improved here from what I've seen before, good job! I like that you're focusing on your thoughts about the songs, your emotional responses. You balance that with comments about how you don't think this song works at this point in the album or that it's a nice change of pace from the songs that came before it and give your reasons without getting too technical or philosophical.
You give your impression of the songs without getting on a soapbox or getting esoteric about the experience of listening to music and I think that fits well with your stated purpose with the article.

In the first song, you mention the tempo from 1/8 normal tempo and slowing down to eventually 1/32. Why do you think that's a trend? I don't listen to a lot of dance music but the tempo shift sounds like the musical equivalent of a slow motion scene in films, like the slow motion fight scenes in, say, 300. Do you think it has a similar effect? I like that you say "Die Young" is a song that you can listen to essentially at any time. It's interesting, as "Warrior" sounds like a song meant for the club but "Die Young" seems like music you can listen to in your day to day life. The thing that stands out the most, so far, is that you talk about what "kind" of a song the song is, i.e. this is a guilty pleasure song, this is a song that you might have to listen to a few times, etc. You talk about the effect the song has on you and that's a lot more interesting than simply saying you like or don't like a song. You mention Iggy Pop; I'm a pretty big Iggy Pop and the Stooges. They aren't for everyone but there's a lot of raw emotion to their songs, which can be unexpectedly catchy. Protopunk is what they tend to be called but I'm not sure; just dirty, grinding sort of music. I was going to use a song from them for the Captain Planet challenge on FAN Idol but thought it wasn't listener friendly enough (though, you guys suck , I liked that Ladytron song and it was a more interesting pick than most in that round, cough, but I digress).

Ah man, she samples "We Will Rock You"?!? That makes me a downy-clowny. No one ever samples Queen stuff like "Ogre Battle" or "Flick of the Wrist".

I have to edit that first song right now. I meant it speeds up from like 1/8 to 1/4 to 1/2, just went the other way with it

Love me some Reel Big Fish. It's kinda weird that Turn The Radio Off isn't on Turn The Radio Off.

Honestly, depending on how this month goes, I might do this kind of thing more often (I would LOVE to make this the theme of the whole blog, but I want to talk about other stuff besides music lol)
