I wonder if we'll get this eventually? It's the obvious route for WWE to go to have quality announcing on both shows. Cole and King are better together now, but they don't have the chemistry of JR and King. Cole/JBL is an excellent combination, and would fit Smackdown perfectly. That would also lead to Josh Mathews trrrending away from the announcing booth, which I fully support.

I doubt it. It seems like Vince McMahon is pretty dead-set against putting Jim Ross back in the announcer's booth on a regular basis.

I'm all for any combination that doesn't involve the king. Thought he'd finally relinquish his position after the heart attack.

If JR was going to be announcing full time, they would have done it after King came back, or sometime shortly after. Except for PPV and random appearances, I think we have seen the end of Good Ol' JR as a full time announcer.
