Apparently the full fight is going to be over 30 minutes long. Can't wait.
And yes, that's MasakoX from DBZ Abridged as Goku.

No doubt in my mind Goku is going to win this and he should...that is unless this is going to be one universal fan boy trolling and it ends in a draw.

Can't wait, love both characters and I kinda hope that they don't kill each other and that they just knock the other out or there's a draw.

I already expect some trolling, like they've done in battles past where the logical winner was stomped on.

Are they counting Goku's attacks as magic based? Because otherwise they wouldn't really damage Supes... ... also I could totally see Superman winning by attacking Goku in the middle of a 60 minute monologue

And Supes has been pounded down by guys like Doomsday, who would be a named mook level opponent to Goku.

Doomsday has this silly Ultimo-like thing going on now where he evolves to counter whatever beat him the last time he was defeated. He'd probably just become immune to all of Goku or Superman's attacks until they deus ex machina him for the time being.

goku wouldnt destroy the lexcorp building, but would destroy the kryptonite.
i'm going to place my money on goku wearing out all his energy during the fight leading to him kicking the bucket.... until kal el finds the dragon balls for round 2.

With the fight being 30 minutes long I can see that being the case, even though Goku should be able to obliterate Supes because he outclasses him in every way save for the energy consumption thing.

This is what I've always thought would happen. Goku is helpless once all his energy has been depleted.

Goku wore himself out trying to fight Cell who had unlimited stamina as part of his creation by Dr Gero. Same thing here. Superman and Son Goku are evenly matched, it's just that Superman has more endurance and will more than likely outlast him if Son doesn't finish him early.

I fail to see how Goku and Supes are evenly matched. Goku has long since been able swat away entire attacks strong enough to destroy whole planets. Supes may be able to survive planet destroying attacks too(I honestly don't know if they've tested that out yet, though), but it will certainly knock him for a loop. Supes has been knocked around all over the place by people weaker than Goku is.

Intelligence is but a small factor in Death Battle. Resourcefulness tends to have a bigger effect than intelligence, and Goku is resourceful.

Yes, Son Goku is much more powerful than Superman could even dream of becoming. There's no two ways about that. However, Goku wears himself out very easily trying to finish fights and finds himself on the receiving end of a massive ass-kicking as a result. It's not just Cell. It's Freeza, Piccolo Daimao Junior, Vegeta during their first fight, Jackie Chun, Tenshinhan, Meta Cooler, Tullece, Nuovo Shenlong, Omega Shenlong, Tao Pai Pai, Kid Buu, etc. His stamina has always been an issue in fights.

Most of your examples don't hold up. In the cases of Freeza, Vegeta and Tao Pai Pai, the issue was never stamina, it was that he was totally outclassed in strength and speed by superior opponents (besides which, Goku actually proved to have greater stamina than Freeza after turning Super Saiyan, which is what ultimately secured his victory). In the cases of Jackie Chun and Tenshinhan, both were just as worn out as Goku as their respective fights dragged on, and in the case of Piccolo, the problem wasn't a lack of stamina so much as the giant gaping hole in his chest. Cooler and the Shenlongs are non-canon and therefore irrelevant. The only examples that actually work in your favour are Cell and Buu, and they were both special cases because neither one of them tired period (and in the case of Buu, Goku had to deal with the fact that he'd never tested SS3 with a living body, and it turned out to be a massive drain on his energy). Superman on the other hand is flesh and blood. He may be an alien (as is Goku), but he still gets worn out when battling evenly matched opponents. I've seen no evidence that he has greater stamina than Goku.

In the first fight with Vegeta this was because he was going all out out with Kaioken because Vegeta was going to destroy the planet.
In the frieza fight again it was because he was using Kaioken x10 If I remember correctly since the very first moment he and frieza started fighting....only when he went SSJ did he recieve a massive boost...all while frieza was drastically losing power while trying to keep up with SSJ goku.
In the case of Cell his regen played a huge factor in dragging the fight out and with Buu samething but also the added strain of SSJ3 being new.
Gokus stamina is never because that he can't fight for long periods of time it is because he has always been forced to pull that toll on his body due to the situation , in the case of Superman none of those should play a factor thus stamina should not even play a role...if anyone in this fight is gonna be gassing first it will be superman...as shown during Frieza if Goku gets gassed he will just go to another level which will give him a boost...Supes does not have that convienence.
I expect once Supes has to deal with SSJ3 goku thats gonna be take the biggest toll on him...but I expect him to beat Goku on that level...it's when Goku hits SSJ4 that Supes is outright f***ed lol.
