Todd Manning upon being moved to General Hospital after the One Life To Live cancellation. GH is driving me crazy right now! In the last couple of months they brought AJ Quartermain back from the dead, along with Duke Lavery AND Faizon, they killed Robin for about a week, brought in characters from other soaps, and lured back old characters like Scorpio, Anna, Lucy Cue... I'm half expecting Robin to be rescued by Stone soon! (And if you got that reference, you'll know how long I've been watching...) It's like GH is part of DC's "New 52". Stop looking at me like that. To each their own, but I'm actually loving GH now. I'm glad they brought back the old characters, since those people never should have been killed off/ruined in the first place. It's miles better than it's been this past decade, when it was little more than the "I Love Sonny Show." Where Sonny and Jason, the Christ-like brain-damaged hitman with a heart of gold, were the great Mary Sue Mobsters of Justice, and every single episode that wasn't during February sweeps consisted of A. Sonny and Jason or B. Every other character talking about Sonny and Jason. I'm glad that things have changed. I hated Robert Guza's head writer run. Sonny and Jason were the John Cena and Randy Orton of General Hospital. At least now we have some diversity in the storylines and see some real human drama, rather than have the story revolve around a pair of unlikeable Mary Sues who, for me, long ago entered Bella Swan-like "just pretend that this character is actually the villain" territory. Uh, anyone want to, you know, watch some football or something? And uh, make some nachos? *spits*

Hey! I liked him! I can be a real fan of Scooby-Doo and like Scrappy-Doo! And if you hate Scrappy-Doo, you might as well hate Huey, Dewey, and Louie, who started off the "give established cartoon stars young, (annoying) nephews" trend that also gave birth to Clyde Bunny, Sylvester Jr., and Popeye's nephews. Wesley Crusher Even the actor who played him, recognised how obnoxious the character was. Wasn't Wesley Crusher supposed to be Gene Roddenberry's self-insert, by his own admission? The above can apply to the following:

Dawn Summers, whenever she was off screen, people would ask, "Where's Dawn?" Also she was much louder than other characters. noot to mention how shoehorned her later plots were. it was like the writers had no intention of keeping her around after season 5, but then things changed so they kept having to come up with things for Dawn to do that just felt meaningless to the larger plot. seriously, you could excise Dawn entirely from the show from season 6 onward and it wouldn't affect anything.

You have no idea how badly I wanted Dawn to die during the shows last two seasons. No idea what Joss was thinking keeping her around.

Todd Manning upon being moved to General Hospital after the One Life To Live cancellation. Holy cow, Todd Manning is still around? I remember him as the rapist jock from when I would watch soaps in college 100 years ago.

Inspector Gadget had Corporal Capeman.
Ducktales probably had Doofus or was Bubba a likely candidate for being a "Poochie"?

I love Shadow the Hedgehog...
But I can see how that Poochie style could involve him but in terms of the Sonic universe, Knuckles was the bigger Poochie in Sonic 3.
My pick for biggest Poochie in a series is Dawn from Buffy. New, edgy, teenage, moaning, boring gawd-awful. lol, You could just see the big wigs at Fox saying how much they'd like a young, spunky, wise-cracking teenage character, ugh, what a disaster.
*edit* Before anyone mentions Connor from Angel, at least they set that up with actual for-shadowing, not just magic monks, and he redeemed himself immensely in series five of Angel.

DC's opinion of Superman, for a long time, was that Superman is the one who can do everything and save the day. Just for reference, you're taking pre-crisis Superman right? The one who could destroy an entire solar system by sneezing?

Huey, Dewey, and Louie were alright, because they were the first, so they were kinda new and kinda fun. But then everyone else tried the same thing, and it got old. REAL OLD.

John Cena now I want another Punk-Cena feud and for the "go home" promo for the big PPV match just have Punk interrupt Cena by whining "Ahhhh, when are we gonna get to the fireworks factory?!"

Out of the Unholy Trinity, Scrappy-Doo is the lesser of the three evils because he didn't draw up controversy because of his stereotypical accent (Jar Jar Binks), nor was he an admitted self-insert (Wesley Crusher).

I thought Jeff was annoying when he first came but he's grown on me. I like him a whole lot more than Haley.
