I thought it had its moments and was pretty good.

I feel let down by the last few years of Royal Rumbles. Some of the stuff during the matches are fun, but I just don't care about who wins anymore. One of the selling points of the match for me was the winner not only got a title match, but you were in THE main event of WrestleMania. It was that much more important. Now we get Del Rio curtain jerking and Sheamus' winning the title in mere seconds. The importance is gone. It's not a recent thing either. Rey Mysterio anyone?

The hyped up "ANYBODY CAN ENTER!" stipulation didn't really amount to anything. It did have Road Dogg being awesome and the finish was good.

Jericho losing was a huge letdown, and the live audience loudly sharing the same sentiment made it come off even worse. Nothing against Sheamus, but the wrong guy won the Rumble if giving the fans what they want was the intention.

I like comedy in wrestling but all the comedy spots pissed me off. Any "non wrestler" entering the match is a slap in the face to the rest of the guys IMO.
I've noticed in recent years they seem to save the last 5 spots for the bigger names instead of throwing them in early and making the match more random. I think from 2000-2009 all the Rumbles were really well booked, and just as good as the early 90s matches.

Hated it. The only good parts were Miz and Cody as iron men,Road Dogg, and the ending with Jericho and Sheamus. Also gotta say that I was very disappointed with Punk/Ziggler.

Even Alex Riley as no 2. I mean he was hardly on the main shows at the time.

I liked it until the end. I disliked Sheamus and Jericho profusely at the time so there was no enjoyment there.

Wrong guy won in my opinion, should have been Jericho. I enjoyed the match but rewatching it recently really reminded me how lacking in star power it really was

In terms of talent depth, yes. In terms of surprise entrants, no. So, it's a bit tough.

My cousin has invited me over to watch the past three Rumbles, and outside of the very good Jericho vs. Sheamus finish, last year's match was absolutely painful to sit through.

Hated it. Worst Rumble match since 1999 for me.
It really showed how weak their roster was at the time when there was probably about a dozen or more entrants in the match who came out to complete silence from the crowd. From Jinder Mahal to Ezekiel Jackson to Justin Gabriel to Epico to Primo to the Usos to Hunico.
This year should be better. The roster is much stronger than it was at this time last year with the addition of the likes of Damien Sandow, Ryback, Antonio Cesaro and the Shield guys.

I don't get the praise for The Miz in the match. From what I remember he spent most of it like lying down or out of the ring.

there was a lot off good and bad with last year's rumble.
Good: 1) The flow and balance of the ring. The ring was never too full like 09 or too empty like 10 2) The order of entrants (What ever star power they did have, was spread out 3) Jericho/Sheamus great ending. Thought for sure Jericho would win. 4) The suprise entrants/comedy. funny stuff with ricardo, cobra/sock, and I marked for Road Dogg and Kharma
The Bad: 1) Lack of star power (outside of Jericho/Sheamus/Orton/Miz who could have realistically won the match?) 2) Too many suprises. did we need all 3 announcers? Made the match sort of too comical and not a serious event 3) Nothing really memorable and will just be remembered for the one that "Sheamus won"

I don't get the praise for The Miz in the match. From what I remember he spent most of it like lying down or out of the ring. Does Miz get a lot of praise for it? Granted, I know he lasted the longest, but I remember Cody in that match, mainly because he kept helping out with eliminations throughout the match. Also, count me as somebody who was disappointed with the match. Part of the problem was depth, which I know had a lot to do with injuries, but I still don't know why Cena or Kane weren't in the match, or why they "injured" Ryder so he couldn't compete. I think another reason is because (as people have mentioned earlier) the Rumble doesn't have the same spark as it used to. Instead of main-eventing, the last two winners have curtain-jerked Wrestlemania. Hell, only one Rumble winner has been in the main event of Mania since 2006 (Orton in 2009).

I remember being more disappointed with 2011 than 2012 honestly. They had 40 entrants, and while Diesel and Booker returning were cool, it didn't seem like the Rumble was a big deal. You kind of already knew Del Rio was winning because he was the only person hyping up the rumble

Kharma tossed Huncio across the Mexican border and Kofi hand stood to survive elimination.
Thus, No.

Worst ending to a Rumble ever. Crowd should NEVER have a reaction like that to a face winning the Rumble.
2011 was bad too, but at least we got the Santino swerve

The only thing that sucked was the reaction of Jinder Mahal's entrance.
