In the Shamrock thread, someone mentioned the Jericho-Shamrock encounter. Too bad they never had a match though. I wonder if Kenny would've did a little shooting with Jericho in the ring.
Were there other feuds you remember that had a feud, but come match time.... there was no match?

Doesn't quite count, but Batista and Mark Henry's time spend feuding/injured was far more significant than any match they ever had.

Warrior and Savage vs. Flair and Perfect in 1992, because of Warrior leaving. Sherri vs Luna.

Matt Hardy and Christian looked like they were about to feud in 2010. Then, Hardy went (more) nuts and got released.

Not sure if this counts but it looked like Undertaker was all set to feud with the Nexus in 2010 but it was forgotten by the time he came back to take on HHH.

Sharmell vs. Jenna Morasca. Because what we saw does not constitute a match, regardless of how low the bar is set.

Orton/Jericho. They have wrestled in the past, but in 2012 were both suspended before their PPV match

I remember being sad because we never got a proper match to end the epic feud between Bam Bam Bigelow and Friar Ferguson. Thought they did wrestle a while later after Ferguson became Bastion Booger. I don't feel like counting that though.

Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton in 2009. I think it ended with a 6 man tag with Legacy which had the STUPID botch and it was forgotten.

Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton in 2009. I think it ended with a 6 man tag with Legacy which had the STUPID botch and it was forgotten. They had a 1 on 1 match on Jan 4th Raw, with the stip that if Orton lost he "would be kicked out of The Legacy" (Cody and Ted smirk). Then on the Jan 11th Mike Tyson Raw there was a Kofi/Orton/Cena 3 way (with the Stupid Stupid Stupid at the end).

Jericho/Goldberg in WCW
Jericho makes fun of Goldberg repeatedly. Eventually Goldberg comes out, chases him off and beats up his "security".

Here's an odd one, Eddie Guerrero and Raven in 2000 or 2001. Somehow, Eddie ended up facing Matt or Jeff hardy and Raven faced Rhyno in the next PPV.

Tito Santana vs. Greg Valentine for the IC was an all-timer for me

Tito Santana vs. Greg Valentine for the IC was an all-timer for me Um, Tito lost and won back the title from Greg Valentine. I can think of a few...Undertaker vs. Nailz. They had a staredown on Superstars and it even made the cover of the January 1993 WWF Magazine, but Nailz was released the month before. I believe they were hyping up a Rick Martel/Ronnie Garvin match for ages, but it never happened. Jake Roberts and Ultimate Warrior in 1991 when Warrior abruptly left. Rick Rude was in the middle of feuding with The Big Bossman in 1990, but left the company. Thats all I can think of right now.

Santino/Austin. Heck, anyone/Austin from after 2003. Came here to post this. Couldn't they have at least *teased* a match? Even if it was just a Daniel Bryan-like 18 seconds thing where Santino eats a Stunner then gets pinned? Would have been a pretty big draw on RAW.
