For example I know that some users like to think that Hornswoggle was only the anon gm for that one episode of Raw.
I like to think that old Johnny L. was behind the hole Kevin Nash thing but it just never really came out.

I like to think that Hornswoggle was the GM for that one episode of RAW. Incapacitating the real GM and taking his spot sounds like the kind of prank that Hornswoggle would do.
I like to think that Skip Sheffield and Ryback are the same person in canon. Ryback is either the character's actual surname or first name.
I'd like to think that the brand split still exists, but certain characters are immune to it or WWE doesn't want to deal with any headaches. Big Show is immune to the brand split due to his Iron Clad Contract. Kane is immune to the brandsplit because who's going to tell a 7 foot monster where he can and can't go? Ryder is allowed to move whereever because they'd rather placate him with an insincere gesture than have him bitching on Twitter.

Just a couple headcanon things from the same angle [the AJ out, Vickie in GM move]:
On AJ's side: The TMZ claim was a nonstarter for the Cena/AJ affair going awry. In reality: Cena never said he DIDN'T have a girlfriend at the time. Cena merely kissed AJ (because Cena's a good person, he was AJ's friend, and he wanted to stop Vickie's problem with bullying her over claims of the affair dead by kissing her to say "There. You got your proof. You won. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW? Lay off of her already"), and AJ reacted the way AJ reacted every other time.
On the other side: When it happened, Heyman and Punk were trying to get Vickie not chosen as the GM. It looked clear they would pick Heyman.
In actuality- they were going to put John Laurinatis back in charge.
The reason? Instantly, it becomes clear: All the "Pipebombs" that made Punk a star were fake. He was the devil himself again, all the marks fell for it. He managed to get them on his side, get a asshole yes-man who was upwardly mobile in his pocket in exchange for pushing him to some power, and take the title [and the chance to get tried in front of a number of top contenders] from John Cena, in order to both A: Get him complacent enough to be beaten by The Rock and B: Leave him helpless when Heyman brought Brock Lesnar back to lay waste to the WWE.

I think the actual reason Vince wanted God to be HBK's tag partner at that tag match was so he can proclaim he beat God.
