Because I'm feeling curious and what some more conversation going on the subject of 2K, I have a question: What do you think the chances are for 2K to hire AKI/syn Sophia to work on future WWE games? Nil, syn Sophia has no interest in making anymore straight wrestling games. |

With 2K, the audio/commentary might actually be great. Their commentary system in the NBA games, is unmatched.

We never. EEEEEEEEEEEVER! Have to hear from him again. Unless, by some cursed luck, someone else hires him! And then he gets hired by EA to head their sports division. "We have got a lot of questions about whether or not Madden 14' will have a pass function. And while I have personally fought for passing to make a return this year, unfortunately we focused on more core gameplay aspects that'll make Madden 14' the most authentic NFL experience yet. We're hoping passing, oh and the ability to pick your plays can make it into next year's." Heh. it's funny because it's true.  |

Nil, syn Sophia has no interest in making anymore straight wrestling games. Thats just not true. Go email syn sophia right now about a wrestling game, their response will include that they want to make a wrestling game again, the right set of circumstances just hasnt come up. And it should be noted abunch of the old AKI team was actually hired by Yukes awhile back. Dont know how many are still there though. Either way its doubtful we'll ever get something as awesome as the AKI games ever again. |

I'm trying a Rikishi/Usos/Too Cool storyline right now. The Usos are closer with Rikishi (Jey is number 1 because his father lovess him most for being the better wrestler), but the Grandmaster and Scotty 2 Hotty are still tight with the big man. And The Usos and Too Cool HATE each other, so poor Rikishi is in the middle. They're all babyfaces, somebody's gotta turn heel in this mess.

Three months in and I'm just now doing some serious Attitude stuff on Universe.  Setting up a second save on the cloud so I can fill it's CAW slots with real life accurate only was a good idea. Aside from a realistic current roster on Raw/Smackdown, I've also got RAW is WAR and WWF Smackdown (fist arena). The RAW roster is accurate to the RAW I'm currently watching videos of (just now going into '98). Smackdown has all the Attitude guys in the game and that I've DLed that aren't part of this time periods roster, and the two will get switched around as it happens in the shows I'm watching. I've also started the championships accurate to the times. Shawn Michaels is the World Heavyweight Champion, The Rock is the IC Champion, HHH is the European Champion (which I just watched him win from Shawn today with the Shove of Doom and his dreaded running pin ), New Age Outlaws are the Tag Champs and Taka Michinoku is the Light Heavyweight Champion. I had to put the European Championship on Smackdown so HHH is showing up on my reserve show, and I have to manage Taka's LH belt myself. The reserve show also carries the Hardcore Belt (held by Cactus Jack) and will have to be self regulated as well when it shows up on "TV". A definite hope for future games is more title slots per show or just let any belt held by someone on the roster be recognized. Some people hate 13, but despite a few nitpicks, I can be happy with this game if we have to wait a little longer for the next or Take 2 drops the ball. |

Going to be interesting too see how the new WWE games will be. I have hope they will be good. The first one maybe rough as it is there first and what I have seen in game history the first game in wrestling never great. But the second one will have big improvements. Just think about the big difference in Smackdown 1 to Smackdown 2.

Welp, if you weren't downloading wrestlers before, you might not get the chance now. The News Feed won't even acquire on the Online side of things. CAWs are still populating, but it's becoming harder to download wrestlers. I don't know how much longer the servers may be up, but it's starting to show signs of a shutdown.

Also, I'm distressed that I don't own the game anymore and the servers are being shut down. Every so often I think about picking it up on sale and grabbing some of the CAWs I see around the place.
