Welp, Superstar, I hope you enjoy when Punk digs out all the skeletons in your closet and buries the living hell out of you on Twitter and maybe even on the next RAW.

In one of Jericho's books he called Billy Graham a has been, and Graham put up a video response. He said he wasn't a has been, and to prove it showed a photo of a match he had in the 70s in MSG. There was a bit more to it than that. In his second book, Jericho said something about Graham being in charge of Eddie Guerrero's funeral service, when he barely knew him. Graham over-reacted in a very dramatic fashion, threatening to cut Jericho's tongue in half and wishing death upon him. Here's part of it on Youtube (it seems to be heavily edited, I think it was originally in 2 parts and about 20 minutes long):

Come to think of it, Meltzer said he "expected" Bruno to have another meeting/conversation with HHH late last year, around Christmas,, when SD came to PA. With this being the first Raw of the year, maybe that meeting/convo resulted in nothing, so Vince fed Punk the line to jab at Bruno?

Why even mention Sammartino and Hogan when either of them works for the WWE? A heel has to talk trash about other wrestlers and then the wrestler he talked trash about should get his revenge. The writers should have made Punk talk trash about Triple H, Stone Cold, Mick Foley, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels. Talk trash about wrestler who can get his revenge on Punk because he still works for the WWE. Billy Graham was out of line but at least he did not wish death upon Punk as he did to Jericho. Billy had matured a little!

Billy had matured a little! He cut promos on Bruno and Hogan because other than Backlund, that's pretty much all there is left who has a longer reign that him. He's talking himself up over the top guard ever by saying that his 1 year is worth 30 of their's. That's all it is. HHH, HBK, et al, are irrelevant because he's already (in his mind) passed them by.

Also for Hogan, he's the biggest name in wrestling history. So he took a shot at him. Hell he could have taken a shot at Hogan's politics, but instead he said something ridiculous. I don't think anyone thinks Hogan had it easy, with working 2 house shows multiple times, and how f***ed up his back is.

Hogan praised the promo on Twitter. Just thought that should be mentioned
"I think CM PUNK has stepped up and proved he can hold his own with anybody in the ring and anybody on the mic,he's on a roll. HH."

Hogan praised the promo on Twitter. Just thought that should be mentioned "I think CM PUNK has stepped up and proved he can hold his own with anybody in the ring and anybody on the mic,he's on a roll. HH." This. If Hogan, who works for the competition and was DIRECTLY referenced in the promo, can compliment Punk's jab then Graham, who is NOT DIRECTLY referred to in the promo, should shut the front door and go away. Don't like what they're saying? Change the damn channel.

When Superstar acts like this I've always just seen it as his way of trying to stay relevant. He seems to pop out of the woodworks every time somebody mentions him or anything loosely connected to him. Maybe he's crazy, maybe he genuinely feels this way. But he seems to keep his eye on a product he supposedly hates and I truly believe that 90% of the reason he wants out of the HOF is just so he can be "The Guy that gave away his HOF spot"
Also. I remember when he made that video on Jericho. Seemed like a straight up promo in my eyes.

I don't think it was even a jab. I think it was Punk's way to acknowledge those that came before without losing his heel heat. It's obvious he was over-exaggerating his critique of those guys, because that's what heels do. As a Bruno fan I was quite pleased to hear him mentioned on Raw.

If you were courting Bruno Sammartino to take part in WrestleMania, would you run the risk of potentially insulting him on television? The decision is questionable from a business standpoint. Unless the courting already failed and WWE feels they have nothing left to lose. Or Bruno has already signed to a contract and this is building towards something.

Good lord. I'm sorry, but the era of Graham, Sammartino, Backlund, Gagne, etc are at least three generations behind. Wrestlemania created the AD to the WWWF's BC. Graham's opinion of the business or anything happening is not relevant now, nor will it be again.
