the WWE Championship turns 50!
Also, depending on what way you look at it WWE as we now know it also turns 50 this year. It was 1963 when Toots Mondt and Vince McMahon, Sr. left the NWA and formed the WWWF giving their newly created World Championship to the original Nature Boy, Buddy Rogers.
Unfortunately 25th of April is a Thursday so we're unlikely to see anything on the actual night. But perhaps on one of the Raw's either side of it we'll see a title match to mark it, perhaps even the fabled new title belt will make an appearance.
Either way, I think it's a cool milestone that deserves some recognition! I hope WWE honour it in some way.
