this thought came up in the short-lived pushes thread. someone pointed out that nobody ever benefits from a feud with Big Show. the only ones I can think of who were actually helped by it were Daniel Bryan and John Cena. has anyone else ever came out of their feud with the Big Show looking good?

Sheamus looked like a bad-ass even in defeat against Big Show. Cody feuding competitvely with Show made him look great too.
Then again I tend to think Show's pretty good for the most part, only a few times where feuding with him made people look like crap, with the most memorable being the Straight Edge Society.

How long are we going back, because Lesnar benefited from a feud with Show.

Eh, damage had been done. Rey Misterio owning them for the better part of 4 months was just f***ing rediculous

Mark Henry, until Survivor Series anyway. Even in his loss Henry looked like a monster though, and frankly I'd rather a guy lose the belt so he can have a lighter schedule/surgery than continue to compete as champion and get seriously injured. See: Batista. Then again I tend to think Show's pretty good for the most part, only a few times where feuding with him made people look like crap, with the most memorable being the Straight Edge Society. Eh, damage had been done. Rey Misterio owning them for the better part of 4 months was just f***ing rediculous I forgot about that actually, but you're completely correct. EDIT: I think for a large part people mistake benefiting with always winning in wrestling. Show doesn't tend to make people look like crap aside from the odd example. He's a dominant giant even when he's a comedy face, and if people's characters die after a single loss to a dominant force the writing for the other wrestler must be steaming garbage. For the most part he loses overall too, it's rare that Show comes out of a feud as the better man.

Though she didn't feud with him, a feud with Big Show sure benefited AJ.

Unless he's squashing you, just feuding with Show and getting some decent offense in is benefitting enough. I'd rather lose a feud to Big Show than to Rey Mysterio.

Daniel Bryan caught fire when he was feuding with Big Show over the World Title. One of my favourite feuds last year.

Just remembered that in the short squash Show had against Ricardo last week that Ricardo looked bad ass in fighting back even when losing via DQ due to Del Rio interference.
EDIT: and given the news Del Rio looks pretty good in his current Show feud.

Um, does everybody seriously forget that Show was pretty much a jobber from 2000 to 2006?

Cody feuding competitvely with Show made him look great too. I must have missed this in Show destroying him at Mania, embarrassing him for weeks afterwards, then losing in a very weak manner with a follow-up of absolutely wrecking Cody after that match...and then beating him clean as a whistle on Raw or Smackdown shortly after. Feuding with Show destroyed Cody.
