Just started watching Seinfeld for the first time in my life a few days ago. For years, I hated it (Having watched up to season three's midpoint, I still can't buy that Costanza or even Seinfeld are able to secure such attractive women), but I forced myself to start watching just because I like having a well-rounded knowledge base of good TV, and I'm really starting to enjoy it. Elaine is my favorite character by far, but everyone is still pretty good. Loved that parking garage episode especially.

Having watched up to season three's midpoint, I still can't buy that Costanza or even Seinfeld are able to secure such attractive women I've noticed the women they date start to gradually get more attractive as the show went on. In the first few episodes, George is dating one ugly ass woman that looks a bit older than him. You jump toward the later end, and he's turning down secretaries that are too sexy.

Considering this episode also has Kramer telling the story about his efforts to save a pinky toe, this is definitely a top 5 episode for me.

Having watched up to season three's midpoint, I still can't buy that Costanza or even Seinfeld are able to secure such attractive women. I enjoyed watching Seinfeld on TV, but I was also annoyed by the way the show had Jerry and George going out with a new, uber-attractive woman EVERY SINGLE EPISODE. Talk about arrogant! Those guys had more dates over the course of a season that many people have over their entire lives. Another thing that bothers me about Seinfeld is how all the characters are shown to be fair well off, despite the fact that none of them are seen working too much (Elaine is a bit of an exception to this statement), they eat out every day, wear nice clothes, and live in one of the most expensive cities in the world. To be fair, Seinfeld isn't the only show that is guilty of depicting people living beyond their means in a very unrealistic manner (Sex in the City, anyone? How about Friends?). Other than those two points, the show was pretty good, and the episode in which George escaped from the fire is actually the first episode I ever watched. It got me into the series.

I loved that episode. "Eric the clown what kind of name is that for a clown." "You are living in the past man, you stuck on some clown form the 60's man."
A little travia, the actress that played George's girlfriend in that clip was in the cast of Fridays alongside Michael Richards and Larry David, and she was in the infomous Andy Kaufman break character sketch, and she was the voice of Didi Pickles in Rugrats.
