I get Charlie horses in my knee when i'm sleeping. Also, I hate when my fingernails bend back. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) Oooh, yeah. Year ago, I woke up, stretched for a bit in the bed, and ended up with charlie horses in each leg. When I thought it was over, it happened again on one leg. Spent the day limping worse than usual - did not help at all that it was during the time when I was still getting used to arthritis.

Accidentally biting the cheek or tongue. Worst part about biting your cheek is it swells a bit, then you keep biting it! Also, I occasionally get the arch of my foot locking up, which really hurts. It's usually when I'm really relaxed, lying back, then I stretch and it'll lock up and ruin my relaxation!

Thought of a couple more.
When you yawn and over-do it and pull the muscle (or whatever it is) under your jaw.
When you eat away too much skin around your fingernails.
Accidentally putting something in between your finger and the nail. That is why a lot of Golfers have the pencil behind their ear rather than in their pocket.

Would not consider those a minor pain. When I had mine a few years ago they put me on something they said was stronger than morphine. I would say hitting your elbow or heel against something hard. Also having your hand stepped on hurts a lot (don't ask)

Papercuts, every time I get one, I can't help but think "how can such a ridiculously small gash cause such ridiculous pain?!"
And the worst part is that it's not very painful, but you feel it constantly for days, so you can't get your mind away from it. It sometimes actually prevents me from sleeping.
Oh and one that easily gets forgotten as it rarely happens, but when it does you'll feel it: zits at the edge of the lips. Just horrible. And like papercuts, you constantly feel it. It's like someone tapping on your shoulder all day long.

I've pulled back, neck, upper thigh muscles before. They were all nightmares to deal with. This. In fact my most recent back pull, which occurred about four weeks ago, has me worried as this is the first time any of my muscle pulls(and I have had many) has had a lingering after effect. Before this back pull I could comfortably sit in any position, in fact often sitting cross legged in front of the ground level stand my computer, tv, and PS3 were on(I've done this for years with no problems). But this pull was in the small of my back, just inches from the top of my ass. The pain from that pull itself eventually went away with rest and lots of pain pills, but I can no longer sit how I use to sit, it causes me great pain in the area I pulled my back in and in fact if I do ANY sitting without any level of recline for me it hurts that area of my back greatly. So ever since I've pulled my back I've only been sitting two ways, first in my recliner downstairs, and secondly on my bed with my head and back propped up by my giant Cthulhu head pillow(sitting like this is really comfy for me). And I've had to rearrange the things in my room, so now my tv, PS3, and computer sit on the bureau at the foot of my bed.

Well, just got a leg (or rather thigh) cramp. Can't believe I forgot about those.
Then again, some of them are more than minor pain.

Oddly enough, I kind of love that electric feeling of minor cramps. I have a way of sitting on the floor that can induce a slight cramp after a while. If I wear socks it almost feels that I don't have feet that's currently stepping on the floor.
As for more minor pains, when I sneeze to strongly, sometimes there would be a small cut at the edge of a nostril. Hurts in a most annoying way when I have a cold.
In general, my arthritis has a lot of daily junk that would be considered minor pain. I've learned to manage, but one thing I usually ignore is that I'm quite weak against beans. After eating some pork and beans, which I love, my lower back turns into a hating mini tower of pain. Also, during bad back pain days,, a sneeze could feel like my ribs and back just got hit by a hammer on the inside, and trying to hold back the sneeze does not help at all. Oddly enough, cold days I can manage just fine - by far my favorite kind of weather.

When you yawn and over-do it and pull the muscle (or whatever it is) under your jaw. Thank you! Every time this happens to me and I complain about it, the people around me look at me like I'm making up crazy stories. Charley horses are the worst. I get them occasionally in my calf muscles, where the muscle just locks up tight, then keeps trying to squeeze tighter. I've woken up screaming from these.

Co-sign on toothaches, knee pain, biting your tongue, and those damn canker sores.
One of the worst for me is waking up with neck pain after sleeping awkwardly. Heaven forbid you turn your neck in the direction that it can't go.

When you yawn and over-do it and pull the muscle (or whatever it is) under your jaw. Came in here to post just that. Also, the worst is when you have a piece of paper stick you underneath your fingernail.
