I was just thinking about this. One thing that hurt the Cena/Rock rivalry is that there was no way a majority of fans were going to cheer Cena over Rock for an extended time...but they might cheer Punk.
I could see Rock screwing Punk out of the title at the Rumble. Punk then reverts to his voice of the voiceless gimmick and Rock's absence from a lot of shows could actually be used as a positive with Punk talking smack about him for it. Punk could then gain a rematch at Mania by having to wrestle in the elimination chamber. I could imagine Rock doing a sweet heel promo where he says something like, "And while you little jabroni are fighting five other jabronis for the right to face the great one The Rock will be sitting back and relaxing with his WWE Championship. If you smell what The Rock is cooking.
Punk then defeats Rock in the main event for his Wrestlemania moment.

I seriously doubt it. Punk's really amping up his heel act in case the crowd even looks like it might turn on The Rock. And Punk basically just came out and said "the voice of the voiceless" thing was just to dupe the stupidly idiotic, sheepish fans into liking him. Why would anyone "fall" for it again?
And if they go with Rock/Cena II at Wrestlemania, there's no way the crowd would cheer for Cena over the Rock -- even if Rock's a heel.

Absolutely not. He'd have to kayfabe it up in interviews when he's promoting his movies and the whole thing would get messy.

No way. For all of the obvious reasons this won't happen. There are almost no baby faces on the roster as it is so turning The Rock would only make things worse.
The reason I like Punk vs Rock so much is that Punk will be a real heel unlike the weird promos that Cena gave last year in their build to WM.

I think there is an outside shot of it but it ends with Cena rescuing the title and not Punk.
Heyman is Rock's agent and after RAW 1000 was ordered by Rock to ensure Punk keeps the belt. All goes well until Ryback and HiaC, where Heyman gets lucky Maddox did what he did, that made him go out and get Rock's cousin and two friends to make sure Punk keeps the title. At RR, Shield cost Punk the belt and everything is revealed on RAW. The Shield are Rock's bodyguards/posse, Heyman the agent and they ensure Rock makes it to Mania as Champ through legal maneuvers and beating the hell out of his opponents. This tasks Cena, winner of the Rumble, with saving the WWE Championship from Rock.
I know there is a less than 1% chance of it happening but I can dream.

They are not doing heel Rock vs. Cena. That may as well be throwing Cenas career in a coffin.

No way cookie puss would go over the great one at Mania. He's not a big enough name.

The last time Cena had to save the WWE Championship from someone, that guy became a megaface in the process. Will. Not. Work.
