I would scale it back to 6 PPVs per year.....
January - Royal Rumble
March - WrestleMania
May - Money in the Bank
July - SummerSlam
September - TLC
November - Survivor Series

The WWE makes tons of money off of PPV so there's no way they'll cut off that many.
Even with "more time to build up matches" it would not make up for the loss of revenue.
However, what I would replace Hell In A Cell and TLC with something else. I would love to see a Fan's Choice PPV like Cyber Sunday return.

I'm not sure why people think more time between PPVs will mean more money or better PPVs. They'd have to double the buyrate.
And Hell in a Cell had 6 weeks of build this year. It wasn't that different, was it?

6 PPVs a year would be more ideal for my wallet.

They should just do what TNA is doing and basically bring back In Your House. Cheaper, out of continuity, and self contained shows. The hardcore kids with money, and diehards who just have to watch everything will still buy, but the rest of us can avoid the burn out without missing anything. Or go the other way. Cater specifically to the internet crowd and just give 3 hours of solid wrestling with little angles. Save some "creative" booking for the real shows where the masses are watching. I might drop $15 for an NXT ppv from the NXT arena.

Would be nice if PPVs were more of a end of the month thing, instead of having 3 Raw's / 3 SmackDown's to build up a feud.

I'd be ok if they got rid of the extra October one and stopped the gimmick PPVs. 12 a year is not ideal but I can live with it. What I can't live with is them destroying gimmick matches, using them in feuds that don't need them or are only set up that way to feed into the gimmick PPV like Sheamus repeatedly beating Show with a chair unsurprisingly leading to a chairs match at a PPV where one of the matches is always a chair match.

Replace TLC with King of the Ring and we have a deal.

I'd do a mix of them- similar to what it ends up being with TNA's PPV model. Keep the PPVs as is, but lower the price of 6-8 of them, keeping the high price for the Big 4 PPVs. The PPVs don't lose entirely, but the bonuses:
-You have to [hopefully] make all the higher priced PPVs the BIGGEST ones, allowing you to build to those PPVs and make them much more must-see, while also allowing you to take a few more chances on the lower priced PPVs. -The lower price point would likely get better sales than before, as the lower the price, the more likely it is people will pay to see it.

I love it Petah, sign me up for your plan. I wouldn't mind cheaper priced, B-level "In Your House" PPVs between those though. Trying to make EVERY PPV AMAZING YEAH kind of fails.

Cole: "Up next, we've got Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler set to go one on one in a fan's choice match! We've got three choices, including a steel cage match, an iron man match and a-"
King: "It looks like the WWE Universe has selected..a dance competition!"
Cole: "That sounds great to me, King! And it looks like our guest judge is gonna be the Great Khali!"
