my second all time favorite is triple h and 2 times i wanted him to lose , because it seemed like the right thing to do :

2. cm punk, night of champions 2011

Edge/Cena at WWE Unforgiven 2006, huge Edge mark, was tired of all of Cena's reigns, but I didn't want him to move to SmackDown!, so rooted for him, marked when he won.

Cheating a little, but I wanted Alex Riley to be inserted in the Beat The Clock Challenge that Daniel Bryan won to become #1 Contender for the WWE Title. I would've rather seen him job to Kane instead of The Great Khali, or seen him job to Bryan instead of having Jerry Lawler getting up from the announce table.

Rey Mysterio during his 2006 title reign.
I was a Mysterio mark back then, was happy to see him win the title at Wrestlemania, but found his reign painful to watch, especially the JBL match where he was bleeding under his mask (I think they did this in a match against someone else on Smackdown at that time as well. JBL was picking out various Big Men for Rey to fight every week, including Kane, on MAY 19TH!!).
I was relieved when King BOOKAH! beat him for the title, and I wasn't even that keen on that gimmick either.

I'm a big Cena fan but there have been several times that I've wanted him to lose. In particular, his match against Ziggler at TLC and his match against Punk at MITB 2011 come to mind.
Back when I was a big Punk fan, I really wanted him to lose to Hardy at NOC 09. Mainly because I was also a big Hardy fan.

He's not my number one favorite but he's one of my favorites and I wanted Cena to lose to RVD at the first One Night Stand.
I also kind of wanted him to lose to Rock last year since I figured there would be a rematch and he could win that one. If I knew for sure that it was a one-off match though then I'd have wanted Cena to win.

I wanted Jericho to lose to CM Punk at Wrestlemania simply because it was the right thing to do.

Triple H Vs Brock Lesnar at Summerslam. If Triple H fights him again at WM I want Lesnar to win. He he fights my least favorite wrestler in the WWE CM Punk at WM I will want Triple H to lose.

Molly vs. Trish on the 6/10/02 RAW. If Molly wins, she gets a title shot at the KOTR PPV. If she loses, she has to wrestle in a thong. You knew she was going to win once that stip was in.

Edge vs Triple H vs Jeff Hardy (Armageddon 2008)
I was a huge Edge fan, but both times I just couldn't get behind him. The Armageddon match especially because I can't think of anyone that didn't want Hardy to win the belt

I wanted HHH to lose to HBK on the last Raw of 2003. I was on the edge of my seat and I marked out when HBK won even though HHH was my favorite but of course that damned Eric Bischoff took the title away from Shawn because his shoulders had been down as well. I was a bit upset but my favorite got to continue with his title run so I wasn't all that broken down about it.

I always rooted for X-Pac as the underdog face but I had picked Billy Gunn as King of The Ring that year. That being said...I love Gunn also, but I've always supported the underdog, so while my heart was behind Pac, my head (and my wallet, we used to bet on KOTR  ) was with Gunn |
