I was pretty disappointed with This is 40 about a week or so ago, but I think the all time winner has to go to Water World. Man, that was awful!

Well, I never really wanted to see it, but I went on a double date to see Someone Like You... (ellipsis are part of the title). Also, America's Sweethearts was a similar situation.
As for a movie I actually wanted to see:
The Matrix Revolutions

Savages.
Let me explain this: I actually thought it was decent in some areas, particularly Salma Hayek's role, as well as Benicio Del Toro's role and John Travolta's role.
However, I didn't really care for the leads in Blake Lively, Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johnson. I also did not like Blake Lively's narration of the movie.
I came out thinking it was decent for the whole plot about drug cartels, but I really didn't care for the main reason the two guys were risking it all for one girl who they shared.

I'm a Tim Burton & Johnny Depp mark, It looked amazing and had a great cast.

It's a toss-up between Batman & Robin and The Village.

The Amazing Spider-Man followed by The Love Guru. TLG I was expecting some funny gags, but what it really showed was how bad Mike Myers has become.

Prometheus Was supposed to answer questions.... But it only raised more questions!! That's because there are going to be more. Wish I knew that before I saw it. {Spoiler}When the Space Jockey in Prometheus was killed in the escape pod, I sat there baffled wondering 'how does he get back to the the space jockey chair?' (like the Space Jockey in 'Alien'), turns out it was different Engineer ship, and a different space jockey.... Could have made that more clear honestly.

In terms of how old I was and how fall short my expectations fell, the answer has to be:
Batman & Robin
At age 11, it was the very first time I remember sitting in a theater and thinking "This is not as cool as I thought this was going to be. In fact, it's uncool."
Robin yelling "Cowabunga" might be the very first thing I ever rolled my eyes at.
Now that I think about it, I really want to call up my mom and apologize for picking the movie that day.

Snakes on a Plane.
Came in expecting it to be totally over-the-top and cheesy, but 90% of the movie was taking itself too seriously and building up to THAT Sam Jackson line, which they could've played on a loop for two hours and it would've been more satisfying.
