DC Comics, having launched a He-Man miniseries last year (it concludes this month), is launching a new ongoing series in April. www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=43126The reason I'm posting this outside the official comics thread, however, is to bring general awarenesss to this picture..... ![](http://www.comicbookresources.com/assets/images/articles/1357929770.jpg) Yes. Hordak has boobs. {Spoiler}But seriously, it's not technically Hordak. It's another female He-Man character. And given there are 4, and you see Teela there in the image, you can imagine who it is.
It's not the Sorceress.
Or Evil-Lyn.
Yeah.

So people are still trying to do liefeld-inspired artwork in 2013? I'd hate to see what Orko and Ram Man look like in this comic.

Yeah. {Spoiler}So its Shadow Weaver? Or Frosta? Or Catra? Or Scorpia? {Spoiler}Technically those are She-Ra characters, not He-Man characters. Although that point seems kinda moot since the OP seems to be implying that boobie Hordak is She-Ra herself (which would make a lot of sense considering her traditional origin). It could also be Queen Marlena, which wouldn't make much sense based on any established MotU mythos.
Of course, if we want to throw out some more potential female He-Man characters (one's who've made multiple appearances anyways), we could include Drissi, Crita, Mara, Dree-Elle or The Starchild (I think it was a girl). Man, the return of Crita would be awesome.
My pick though, and I admit it's a long shot, is Julie Winston, in some kind of twisted attempt by DC to take advantage of the success of Cougar Town.

Maybe it has to do more with the painted cover (any pics of what the inside of the comic looks like)?

To be totally fair though, Masters of the Universe characters have pretty much always been depicted as muscle-bound titans. Personally, I like the art, but to each their own! I'm kinda interested in all this, as a long time Masters fan. Any good jumping on points?

Oh yeah sure, just bring up all the other female characters I forgot all about. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) {Spoiler}It's a person from the She-Ra universe though. Think the most important female character of that universe. Yup. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I'm kinda interested in all this, as a long time Masters fan. Any good jumping on points? The current MOTU miniseries is the best place to start: it plays with continuity just a bit (presenting a new altering development, going from there), but I think without reading it you'd be lost fully grasping this new ongoing series in April.

Well, whoever it is is pretty much straddling He-Man's thigh. Plus no feet visible so I thought of Liefield as well.

Is the entire He-Man universe in this comic? Including the lesser-known guys like Clamp Champ, Rio Blast, Dragster, and Jitsu?

Is the entire He-Man universe in this comic? Including the lesser-known guys like Clamp Champ, Rio Blast, Dragster, and Jitsu? Probably not. Mattel's kinda weird with the He-Man license. They tend to make demands that forces creators to stick with the main characters and popular supporting ones. Which sucks because I love seeing the C/D-listers show up and get revamped or at least just used for a little bit. They've cancelled the last iteration of MOTU (the early 2000's cartoon and comics) just as they were getting to introducing Hordak and She-Ra, so I'm kinda impressed Hordak is showing up here.
