The console's still young. Games shouldn't be a problem, considering it should have the power to handle PS3/360 games. I would hardly call it a s***ty console. Except right now games ARE a problem. Namely a lack of announced games for 2013 being a huge problem. Of the so far announced third party games for 2013 only a very small amount, less than that you can count on both hands, have a Wii U version. Hell some developers even dropped their Wii U version, like Metro: Last Light. Pretty much the only thing giving the Wii U's 2013 line up any hope at the moment is Nintendo's offerings. If most of the games shown at E3 this year don't have a Wii U version announced, the Wii U is in big trouble, especially if the next Xbox and PlayStation come out this year. How is it lacking? Pikimin 3,Bayonetta 2, lego city , Rayman Legends, Wonderful 101 ,Aliens Space Marine just to name a few.For a new console it is pretty good.

I'm kind of unsure when I'm going to be able to get a Wii-U. Not a lot of money to throw around - was thinking February, but now something's come up to push that back further.
Probably just as well, only games for it I really have any interest in are New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendoland. Maybe Injustice when it comes out, though I'll probably go for the 360 version of it, but otherwise not a lot on the immediate horizon that has me too interested. Of course, will probably down the line be Galaxy 3 (or an equivalent) and maybe another traditional Paper Mario game, those always help... Would throw in Zelda as a sure-thing too, but given how disappointing the past few games have been I'm not much on the bandwagon anymore there.

You just named more or less half of all of the announced 2013 Wii U games. Obviously we don't know jack about the post E3 releases for any system in 2013, but for the first six months of 2013 the Wii U has a very small library. Normally I'd give the Wii U a pass because it is a new system and new systems tend to have slow library starts, HOWEVER, the Wii U is on par spec wise with the PS3 and 360 meaning there is no excuse for it not to have more multiplatform releases in early 2013.

That's why I wait a year or 2 to buy a new system. You got a better choice of games then

The console's still young. Games shouldn't be a problem, considering it should have the power to handle PS3/360 games. I would hardly call it a s***ty console. It should have the power, but Nintendo took some shortcuts in the specs to offset the cost of the tabletroller where some things aren't really up to snuff. IIRC the RAM especially is really underpowered, which is a real problem for the UE3-based games. It's why the ports of Arkham City and Mass Effect 3, among other games, are so inferior.

I still remember when the Gamecube killed Nintendo and was the worst console ever with terrible kiddy games.
I guess I forgot the N64 and how it's lack of polygon power killed it... remember? Sticking with Cartridges buried Nintendo, right?
Oh well, not to worry. The Wii was a gimmick and killed Nintendo. No sense worrying about it now. D E A D

Really I think I enjoyed Arkham City on the Wii U much more than on the Xbox 360... don't know why exactly...

If I didn't already have it for PS3, I'd probably get it for Wii U because of the gamepad features.

Actually, the only problems with those games are with framerates, which can be attributed to the fact that this is new hardware and the programmers need to know how to use it. See: every other console launch games in recent history.
