I wouldn't have put "50 Ways..." on there, and "Want U Back" would have been much higher.
Also, I had no idea that it was Drake who started the f***ing YOLO thing. There's a meme that needed to die before it was ever conceived.

I don't agree with One More Night being on the list. I'm not big on Maroon 5 at all, but that song is f***ing dope!

Karmin should've been on the main list. They are SO awful.

Because that's exactly what those songs are, they are literally the title of their latest album. Plus, this kept "Gangnam Style" from being the #1 song in the US. I hope that Todd releases a "Top 10 Best Pop Songs of 2012" video soon, cause it would be interesting to hear what he thinks were the best songs of the year.

And for Tony, I'm thinking straying away from just the top 100 to anything that got to 20 or higher on the weekly list was an excuse just to put 50 Ways on there. I'm also disappointed by the fact that Rack City by Tyga and Big Sean's A$$ wasn't on his list or the Honorable Mentions list.

I don't agree his his assessment of "That's What Makes You Beautiful". I'm not a fan of the band, and only heard the song on the radio, but I thought it comes across as really sincere.
Amusingly, Whistle and Live Like We're Young I only heard on the show Glee and were the two songs the antagonist glee club used during the competition.

This Train hate needs to end. Thing is, I do not really hate Train. I like "Hey Soul Sister" and even to an extent "Drive By", but no matter which way you cut it or which band would have done it, I can not stand "50 Ways to Say Goodbye"

And the beat for "Rack City" keeps it above worst song designation for me. Tyga would have to get much worse to ruin it to that degree.

Also, I like a lot of Maroon 5 songs, but One More Night is no one of them. Misery and The Sun are my favorite Maroon 5 songs.

For me, it's the opposite. I enjoy 50 Ways... more than any of Train's other songs simply because it sounds like Pat Monahan was actually trying to be funny when he wrote the crazy, borderline-nonsensical lyrics for it. All their other songs I've heard have a much more serious/straightforward tone to them, and are thus hindered big time by the stupid lyrics he uses. Also, I really dug the mariachi-style music.

A friend of mine when hearing "Whistle" for the first time thought it was a joke.

I like Drive By, but I just cannot stand listening to 50 Ways To Say Goodbye. Also, I really dug the mariachi-style music. Bingo, that mariachi riff was awesome. Also I love that 4 of the top ten songs of 2012 were released in 2011.

How the shit does freaking PSY get in the "Best" section, but Alex Clare on the "Worst"?
YEARGH.
Oh, right, internet reviewer. Eh, life goes on.

I love his hatred of Train.
I always have this tendency of hating a Train song because it's awful before learning Train did it. Then I find out and I go "Oh, it figures" and it just reinforces the hatred.

Did he really call "Red Solo Cup" a GOOD song?
Even Toby Keith hates it, and he recorded the damn song.

How the s*** does freaking PSY get in the "Best" section, but Alex Clare on the "Worst"? YEARGH. Oh, right, internet reviewer. Eh, life goes on. Because Gangnam Style is awesome. Though I don't think I've heard Alex Clare... Also you know... it's Todd's opinion not like it's fact. He himself has said he doesn't consider himself a music expert... edit: on further review... I have heard Clare and I fully agree with Todd on this one... it's terrible. I kind of start to like it... but that gets horribly obliterated about the time the dubstep starts.
