For the sake of discussion: I think the Tom Brady/Petyon Manning debate is over. Brady just became the winningest quartback in NFL history, while Manning just suffered his 8th one and done playoff performance. I'm not looking for insults or trolling. What do people think? Manning still has him in Super Bowl wins But Room Temperature, Brady has won three Super Bowls, while Manning has only won one! What madness is this?!? Yes, I realize what you did there, and we've already argued this ad nauseum. They didn't need tape to win those games, just like they didn't need tape to kill nearly every team they played in 2007. I don't see why we have to do this every year.

In terms of raw skill and talent, ie: who I'd take when they were playing at their very best, it'd still be Manning. As far as consistency goes, Brady all the way.

If doing so isn't worth a possible 3 points why the hell would someone do it? For their health? No because they feel it helps them.

Full disclosure: I am a fan of Brady because he went to Michigan and now Manning because he's on my favorite team, the Broncos. I've long said I'd take Brady over Manning and stick to that but I also think they are a product of their teams. Brady couldn't go to the Colts and have the same success that Manning had and Manning couldn't take the Pats to the places they've been. Manning is more valuable as he carries teams but Brady just wins. That said neither can win the Super Bowl without Adam Vinatieri it seems. I wholly disagree with you that Manning couldn't have won with the Pats. That team is rock solid. If he had the kind of protection Brady consistently has, I believe we would see the same, if not more, success. On the other hand, if Brady had been on Manning's Indy teams, it'd likely be a mess.

There is only evidence from 2000 to 2002, and none that would have helped them against Super Bowl opponents. And you're also assuming that he was the only coach in the entire NFL that would do that to look for an edge.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reiterated that the Packers "probably will part ways" with Charles Woodson this offseason.

Manning routinely had atleast one All-Pro lineman during his tenure until about '09. That line was great. He also had Marvin Harrison's entire career and most of Reggie Wayne's. The only edge Brady had was a great defense.

I'd like to thank the Baltimore player for adding "bitch-ass-ness" to my vocabulary.

Brady's better, but that doesn't mean Manning isn't useful at all.
One thing for sure- I WOULD take Manning over Favre.

I'm a Manning family fan, and I'd take Peyton over Brady in the regular season, but it's a close one there.
But for the postseason? Brady, no contest. I'd sooner take Eli over Peyton there, too.

The Eagles interviewed former Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt for their head-coaching vacancy Monday.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Broncos OC Mike McCoy is believed to prefer the Chargers' head coaching job over Arizona or Jacksonville's.

There is no way they can just let McCoy waltz over to a division rival like that. Why the hell did they even let him interview with them? I get that Elway thinks Peyton runs the offense but for f***s sake McCoy knows this team, he knows what Peyton can and cannot do now, you cannot just let him walk to San Diego.

According to CBS' Jason La Canfora, there is a "growing perception" around the league that Eagles GM Howie Roseman is "woefully out of his depth."
Per La Canfora, numerous "esteemed (coaches)" have advised candidates to replace Andy Reid "not to take the job precisely because of Roseman's presence there." There are "rumblings" that Roseman lacks "nuance and foresight," and is "turning people off with how drunk with power he's become." The Eagles are known to have targeted at least 14 candidates, and conducted 10 interviews. Reid, meanwhile, is settling in with the Chiefs.

Even if he does deserve the blame, I don't want someone with intimate knowledge of the team going to a division rival.
