The only black coach out there who I thought should have gotten a job was Lovie Smith. But I can understand because everyone (with the exception of Jacksonville went for an offensive guy). People want offense these days and good ones.

Remember when I said that Michael Crabtree can be a pain in the ass, well it seems that it is that time..............again.

The Jaguars have hired University of Miami (FL) offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch as their new offensive coordinator. He has previous NFL experience as the defensive quality control coach with the Texans between 2001-2003, assistant quarterbacks coach and assistant wide receivers coach with the Ravens between 2004-2007, wide receivers coach with the Broncos in 2008, and quarterbacks coach with the Seahawks in 2010.

So it's obvious that San Fran & NE are the 2 hot teams right now, but I'm thinking i would take Balt+8 and Atl +4. Balt/NE matchups have been close and Atlanta is a HOME underdog, WASUPWITDAT!?!?

Panthers promoted QBs coach Mike Shula to offensive coordinator. And once again I question why I support this team. HORRIBLE decision, in my opinion.

I'm hearing that 49er fans are traveling really well to Atlanta tomorrow. I wouldn't be shocked to hear chants of defense when the Falcons have the ball.

Appearing on NFL Network's GameDay Morning, Jeff Darlington reported that Michael Crabtree is fully expected to play in Sunday's NFC Championship game versus the Falcons.

The Falcons are a home underdog because they are almost completely inferior to the 49ers. They have an overrated QB whose stats are inflated by the combination of amazing WRs, a strong offensive line and playing in a dome. Michael Turner is also overrated and isn't that great. Their defense is lousy as demonstrated by Carolina and Tampa Bay scoring what they did. Fast quarterbacks like Kaepernick are their bane. They barely defeated Seattle at home despite the Seahawks playing terribly for a whole half. I don't expect the Ravens to win. I want them to, so badly. But I don't think it's going to happen because of how we traditionally perform in the big playoff games. But I think the Ravens are more competitive against the Pats than the Falcons will be against Frisco.

49ers source doubts Crabtree charge By Adam Schefter | ESPN
One well-placed San Francisco 49ers source said he "highly, highly doubted" that San Francisco wide receiver Michael Crabtree will be charged in the events that led to an investigation of sexual assault last week.
A second female witness backed up Crabtree's version of the events to police, according to the source, and there's a feeling in the organization that these events will not develop into anything more than they already have.
Crabtree cooperated with police, interviewed with them for two hours, never was booked, never was charged, and the team doesn't believe he will be.
The team thought the timing of the announcement of the investigation, coming Friday night, was suspicious.
The 49ers insist that the events were not a distraction to the team, and it was just another reminder that players can be targets and they have to be careful.
Crabtree will play against the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship Game and the 49ers are hoping he is just as much of a force as he has been the second half of the season, when he has been one of the league's top receivers.
This season, Crabtree became the first San Francisco wide receiver to log more than 1,000 yards in a season since Terrell Owens in 2003. He had a career-best 1,105 yards receiving, including a single-game high 172 yards on eight receptions in a win over Arizona.
Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

Pat Shurmur likely to join Eagles ESPN.com news services
Former Cleveland Browns coach Pat Shurmur is expected to join Chip Kelly's coaching staff in Philadelphia, likely as the Eagles' offensive coordinator, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Shurmur, 47, went 9-23 in his two seasons with the Browns, who were still in the playoff mix before closing the season with three straight losses to finish 5-11. He was fired following the season and since replaced in Cleveland by new coach Rob Chudzinski.
Before becoming the Browns' coach, Shurmur was the St. Louis Rams' offensive coordinator for two seasons.
The Eagles hired Kelly last week, choosing the former Oregon coach as the successor to longtime coach Andy Reid, who was fired after 14 seasons with the team. Reid was named the Chiefs' new coach soon after his dismissal by Philadelphia.
Kelly hasn't yet named his defensive coordinator, either, and has interviewed Giants linebackers coach Jim Herrmann for the position, a league source told ESPN.
Information from ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter and The Associated Press was used in this report.

The New York Post mentions impending free agent Matt Moore as a possibility for the Jets.
NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah was told by one personnel executive that he wouldn't be surprised if the Ravens let Ed Reed leave via free agency this offseason.

Good time to mention that, since 1999, the NFC #1 seed is 7-2 in the NFC Championship Game. EDIT: Oh, and the NFC #2 seed in that span is 1-8 in the Title Game.
