Since they have inducted people who are not primarily WWE/F guys, does anyone else think Bruiser Brody would be a good posthumous inductee?

So should Kevin Nash induct Backlund into the hall of fame?

The "I'm not going in because of Pete Rose" thing was Mr. T I thought I thought T's reasoning was that *HE* should've been the 1st celebrity inductee, and no one else. Rose being the first moreorless convinced him to just never accept or go in in future classes. He should've gone in 2005, the year most everyone else from WM1's main event went in, but his ego was bruised by that point and that was that.

Spoiler for who may be inducting Foley, not sure if its already been posted {Spoiler} 411mania » Wrestling » News Share5 Advertisement Who Will Induct Mick Foley Into WWE Hall Of Fame? Posted by Larry Csonka on 01.23.2013Take a guess… - At this time, Terry Funk is said to be the person expected to induct Mick Foley to the WWE Hall of Fame. It has been noted that Funk was a big inspiration to Foley as the two worked together many times both as opponents and partners during their careers. Credit: Pwinsider.com via wrestlezone.com The right choice in my opinion. Snuka would have been great especially with it being the Garden but I think Funk overall had the most impact throughout Foleys career. Although they could try having both of them inducting him, which I wouldn't be against. To be fair, either one of them you can't go wrong with. He's the best choice, because I think with the 2 of them together, there's a chance we could get a hardcore match on the HOF stage.

There was a story about his son (who's in his 30s now), approaching Ric Flair at an NBA game or something just because he wanted to meet him, I could see the WWE reaching out to him.

- TheSportsCourier.com recently spoke with Bob Backlund about his 2013 WWE Hall of Fame induction, CM Punk and more:
Returning to the ring: "I’m in better shape now than I’ve been in a long time (because of the Step Test); the WWE said that they would not welcome me into the ring – I said to them that if the people want me, they’ll put me into the ring. It’s all about what the people want."
Hall of Fame induction: "There were some things going on that we had to get settled behind the scenes before I agreed to go into the Hall of Fame. I have a book coming out in late 2013 that will chronicle all of my trials and tribulations with the WWE, as well as my whole life."

{Spoiler} credit various newz sites: WWE reached out to Trish Stratus late last week about induction into the 2013 Hall of Fame. Word is that Trish will indeed be inducted this year from Madison Square Garden.
We noted earlier that there was talk of either DX or The Kliq being inducted this year. Word going around is that DX will be inducted.
This year's Hall of Fame class looks to be made up of Mick Foley, Bob Backlund, Trish Stratus, Kamala and DX, plus Bruno Sammartino if the reports of them working out a deal are true.

There is no rush to put them in so soon. Why would you make this Triple H's first induction? Also, while fans today aren't familiar with Ole Anderson (who never really worked for WWE), they are familiar with Chyna. Yes she has burned bridges, but so have a million other guys that WWE eventually works with for one night only events.
If they want to give someone a second ring, give it to Bret Hart by inducting the Hart Foundation with Jim Neidhart. There are at least other, older tag teams/stables that can go in.
Also, that list doesn't seem to name any celebrity or posthumous induction. So I am going to assume there are more planned.

Trish deserves it, but it seems a little soon. I think Sable could have gone first. I hear her husband will be in the area that weekend.
