Another "what if" question, if Jim Ross had stayed with wcw and didnt go to the wwf in the 90s, would wrestling change that much?

WWF would've sounded a lot different. But more importantly, I wonder if Vince would've become Mr. McMahon, as I'm certain he'd have taken over lead commentator earlier (Monsoon would've still retired from full time commentating in '93) and that could've dug into his perceived responsibilities at the commentating table.
As for JR, he'd either be in jail for killing Bischoff, or he'd have died of a massive stress related heart attack if he had to stay in WCW anymore.

JR would have barely concealed his hatred for the product. For years.

Don't forget it was guys like Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar who JR signed so those guys and a whole lot more might not have made their way into WWE.
JR not going to WWE changes the game completely.

Depends on how much Bischoff listens to JR and who takes JR's backstage spot in the Fed.
JR not only pushed to sign Angle and Brock, he also had a lot of "JR's boys" when he was head of talent. Some worked out real well, his love of Austin and Foley and some were Dr. Death.
I do think JR would have loved Goldberg. He was big and an ex-football player. JR and Heenan putting over Goldberg would have elevated that man to the moon.

Well, JR in WCW had an ENTIRELY different style. He was the no-nonsense commentator who called play-by-play as if it were a straight forward sport. We got a glimpse of him doing this style again in 2012 when he was with Cole and JBL and didn't have to be the lead guy.
Considering the Hogan era's overall style, and the phasing out of the work horses for that first year, there would have be no place for JR.
