So I was watching Raw and when the Cage match was winding down I was prepared to turn off my TV and get on FAN to discuss the 20th Anniversary...until they showed a graphic for the Rock concert next. My thoughts were "Oh yeah...that's happening." So not sure what to think about that.

It was all of ten minutes long at most (the last one was about half an hour), and was just a funny put down on Vickie Guerrero. Pretty amusing, but skippable.
Not that that's a bad thing. What else were they going to do, have another face off? That was one of the complaints about the build to Rock-Cena.

Yeah, I didn't see anything wrong with it. I thought it was funny and WAY better than "Cleveland rocks" last time.

I thought it was awful. Can't stand the Rock and I find it baffling that the live audience lap up his crap like it's the greatest thing on earth when really, it's awful. Lame jokes and lame insults that would be met with silence and/or boring chants if done by anyone else yet for some reason, just because it's Rock, people feel like they have to laugh along.
I hope he goes away again soon.

The brawl at the end was great in my view. I thought the Heartbreak Hotel song wasn't funny. The Wonderful Tonight was better. I'm not crazy about Rock Concerts any more. The end brawl was very well done. It looked real and like they really hate each other.

Also, last night was the first time I noticed Rock's crows feet. Didn't look bad or anything, just could tell, dude's gettin older.

Me and my brother were joking about how the steel cage match should've been the closer (imagine that - wanting Cena winning to be the end of a show); he said "it's the end if you cut the TV off." Part of me wishes I did.
The song wasn't horrible and the brawl looked great, but I still think Cena/Ziggler should've closed the night. That match was completely awesome, and the segment that followed felt like a step back.

Forgive me for the dissenting opinion, but it would've been crazy to end the 20th Anniversary on a Cena win when MORE than half the crowd was chanting for Dolph Ziggler to win despite the shameless cheating of Big E. Some of you Rocky-haters out there really need to acknowledge that your fringe opinions on Rocky's "bad shtick" have no basis in reality: the Rock Concert was most likely the highest-rated segment of the night which is always the goal of any show-closer.

Just because it could be the highest rating of the night, doesn't make everyone think the segment was good by default. I honestly thought everything save for the brawl at the end of it was terrible, and I usually love the Rock.

The Rock concert was absolutely awful in content. But Rock is such a charismatic bastard he can make me love the dumbest things.

Most of them probably came to the show to just see him, so of course they are going to enjoy it. Its wrestling, I don't think its supposed to be a cerebral and intellectual product. They lap it up because The Rock is one hell of an entertainer. He puts on a good show and always has. I know its not true but I just want to yell at so many people for being such jaded wrestling fans. Loosen up. Laugh at the fact that you are watching the quintessential male soap opera.

To be fair, you can be "loosened up" and still think it's awful. I don't hate the Rock but I thought that "concert" was misogynistic garbage. But I'm also not stupid and I realize there's millions of other people who really enjoyed it. To each his own and what not.
