We have a crippling deficit, unemployment, people underfed and homeless... and we're worried about beverages. Our priorities are so skewed. let's not pretend that this is now a main priority over the economy. the economy is on the upturn but certainly, there will always be major room for improvement and joblessness, while not as bad as it has been, can similarly improve, but we can spread our focus on more than one concern at one time.

I've only heard all soda called Coke in places like Georgia which makes sense as that's where Coca-Cola started. I grew up calling it all Coke in Texas. What kind of coke do you have? Dr Pepper, Coke, Diet Coke etc.... same here in AR. It's a Mid-South thing. Rule of thumb is, it's lower case coke if you're going to get something general i.e. " I'm thirsty, let's go get a coke." If you're talking about something specific it's " I want a Coke, a Pepsi, a Mountain Dew, whatever." It's like calling all bandages Band-Aids or all tissue Kleenex.
