So who is your favorite Ducktales villains? I tell you this question is really hard, they are great in their own way.
The Beagle Boys were great as Scrooge's everyday nemesis, I always liked the Magica Da Spell episodes, they were all great, maybe because she was only in season 1 which superior to the seasons that follow, but I have to go with Flintheart Glongold.
I liked how sometimes he is not the villain, and just a comic relief antagonist like the episode when they found a geanie, or the episode he build a bunch of robots that Beagles later stole. And he was the villain in the episode where the seamonster ate Scoorge's Ice Cream.
But I also thought El Capitan was a great villain, too bad we never saw him again after the series permere 5 parter.

Merlock from the DuckTales movie, if just for the voice of Christopher Lloyd.

Glomgold. I have always liked his rivalry with Scrooge.

I was a bit disappointed as a kid that the Phantom Blot didn't make more appearances as I was a big mark for him in the Disney comics. Barring him, Glomgold.

Glomgold because of how pissed he was because he was only the second richest duck in the universe.

Flintheart Glomgold was my personal favorite, mostly because he was an interesting character. He wasn't entirely villainous, he was as greedy and business savvy as Scrooge. They operated under different moral compasses, Scrooge didn't cheat (much), and Glomgold would do anything to get richer. The rivalry was really fun to watch, it was a nice change up from the stock villains you'd get in other animated shows.
A close second would be Magica de Spell, mostly because her motivations are different from the others, she wants Scrooge's number one dime because she believes it has magic powers. Plus, she's voiced by June Foray, who gives her a great voice.

A good villain should always be both a mirror and the antithesis of the hero. Flintheart Glomgold is that antithesis.

I loved the episode with the truth revealing mirror, when Magica turns into Helen of Troy, than she flirts with Scrooge, than she turns into a pro wrestling. Hillarous.
Just because I love this bit, and it featured the Phantom Blot and was part of a Glomgold arc, it is one of my favorite arcs, the forturne weigh off competition.

Glomgold. Partly because I never really cared much about Magica and the Beagle Boys, and partly because angry Scotsmen are always great villains.
