So... Is it safe to say that HHH's "Don't bring them up for no reason" policy is working? At least on the Smackdown side.
Hopefully Johnny Curtis aka Fandango becomes another Cesaro/Sandow/Shield/Ryback stituation rather than a Tensai/Brodus (at least Brodus was kind of over for a while). Jury's still out on Brad Maddox.

I guess. But at the same time I feel that not everyone needs to be brought in "with a bang" and put in some huge storyline that "affects the fate of the entire company".
I mean I'd like to see Johnny Curtis on the main shows, even in just a small role, as long as he's on TV every week.

We'll Sandow, Cesaro and Ryback were given good introductions without being thrust into a big spotlight. I think the approach they have going on now is working as it allows these guys to be integrated into the main roster more naturally.

But that's also a problem as well with describing the "New Talent Initiative" for 2012: The assimilation of "show-era" NXT performers to the main shows. When you take returning superstars [counting Ryback/Tensai/Sandow as returning wrestlers who were repackaged] and NXT regulars getting a shot on the major shows [which handles the Prime Time Players], you're left with a "real" 2012 New Talent Initiative of Cesaro, Maddox, The Shield, and Langston...which isn't 'that' big for a year.

Not a big year? How many legit superstars would you want? Cesaro, The Shield, Ryback, Langston and Maddox are seven of the top new talents. SEVEN. I cannot think of a time in the last five years that SEVEN legit actual good talents have come up. Each brings something unique to the table. Sure they may not be the greatest wrestler but they fit their role perfectly, are entertaining.
Remember Nexus or the Corre? Those guys never amounted to much and I love Wade Barrett but in my eyes they missed it with him. He has time to recover but they really did miss it. I would say the 2012 roster upgrade worked because all seven of these wrestlers will remain on the roster and have a decent role unlike Jack Swagger
